'Great view, beautiful and comfortable house. The beach in front is rocky, and it's a bit of a drive from shops, but a great place to stay if you're looking to explore the area. Management was responsive to any concerns that came up. '

'It was such a privilege to be able to stay in a home with direct beach access. It was about 20-30 minutes away from Parksville or Courtenay so if you need supplies, groceries, etc, try to plan ahead if you don’t want to do too much driving by bringing as much as you can for your stay so that you can focus on enjoying the stay rather than going shopping during the stay.Our check in was easy but we did find a few problems after entry, but were able to work through them with the host. 'The house is stunning. All brand new everything, fully stocked kitchen and bathroom. Even games for time with the family. They thought of everything! Area is quiet and so relaxing. The covered porch is the best place to sit and listen to the forest. Hosts were super responsive and kind. House is 10 minutes from all amenities. Perfect spot, will come back!'

'Great space perfect for the kids and families together. Runs on septic so hot water and bathroom use limited for larger groups. Had to take turns to shower etc. good amenities'

'A lovely place with a beautiful view of the ocean and mainland mountains. It was very peaceful sitting outside and walking the beach. The unit is well appointed and stocked with all you need. It would have been good to have some better window coverings since it was too bright for sleeping with the thin curtains. But the bed is comfy and I loved the thick towels too. '

'We had a great week at this beautiful place right on the beach. The kids loved playing (collecting all kinds of little sea creatures) and swimming right at our door step. It gave us as parents plenty of time to relax as they were always in sight and we could just stay at the cottage. The place itself was very spacious, clean and well-equipped. The owners were quick to respond to any of our questions in satisfactory way. All in all a great place to spend time in the heart of Vancouver Island.'

'The cabin itself is close to perfect; spacious; all amenities present and....what a view! Everytime you walk into the main living space you will be stopped in your paces by the view! There is however quite a note; as peaceful as the views are; they are counteracted by the noise of the highway. Sitting on the deck is not that peaceful with permanent car/truck/bike noises. The public access parking is also right next to the property.'

'The property was about 20 minutes off the main roads but the peaceful, private nature of the property was perfect for our stay. Suite was very clean, cutely decorated, had basic amenities and felt like home. Kids loved their room with the two twin beds and adult rooms were cozy and comfortable. Spacious area for a party of 4 to share. Would highly recommend. '
