Onze kamer was gelegen aan de straatzijde van het hotel en was daardoor nogal luidruchtig er werden diverse werkzaamheden uitgevoerd in overige kamers, er was geen balkon waardoor het niet echt een kamer was die ik nogmaals zou willen

Ontbijt niet goed en niet lkkr, allemaal volle borden terug. Meeste gasten zaten in de zaken erom heen te ontbijten daarna. Koffie filter en Americano uit espresso machine beide niet lekker. Hotel kan een kleine kleur make-over gebruiken is erg grauw allemaal. Personeel doet zijn best!

Netjes kleinschalig hotel
Het hotel is klein zoals de meeste hotels in Sanur, maar erg fijn. Het is schoon en het heeft een zeer nette uitstraling. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en zodra er iets mis is of als je iets nodig hebt, regelen ze het meteen. Je kan gratis fietsen gebruiken van het hotel, dit is er handig om de omgeving snel te verkennen. Ook hebben ze een eigen strand gedeelte, hiervoor moet je wel een stukje lopen (10min), fietsen(3min) of met de taxi.

Prachtig verblijf.
Een prachtig nieuw hotel waarbij men alles tracht in het werk te stellen je verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Een absolute top service kan je hier verwachten. Kamers zijn heel erg net en voorzien van alle faciliteiten. Badkamer heeft regendouche en bad. De badkamers op de beneden verdieping zijn wel deels open. Dit is wel aangenaam doorheen de dag maar ‘s avonds trekt dit wat insecten aan (wel geen groot probleem voor de netheid). Het hotel heeft ook een uitstekend restaurant. Zwembad valt door de bouw wel volledig in schaduw.

Alles klopt in dit nieuwe hotel
Het is een vrij nieuw hotel en dat merk je aan alles. Alles is tip top verzorgd en het personeel doet er alles aan om het verblijf perfect te maken. Zorg alleen dat je een kamer aan de achterkant krijgt, de live band in de kroeg aan de overkant stopt pas rond twee uur en lijkt in je kamer te spelen als je aan de voorkant zit.

Staff made you feel really welcomed. Small hotel so very personal service. Rooms were large and clean. Pleasant surprise was hot water in the sink and good pressure and hot water in the shower. In Asia this not always the case. The pool area was very relaxing.

Fantastic
Stayed here for 2 nights as it’s in the area of the port for ferry’s and my next stop was Nusa Lembongan. Really happy that I chose to stay in Sanur and I picked the perfect hotel for it! Akana is beautiful, didn’t see one bit of dirt the whole time I was there. Staff are very attentive and will go above and beyond for you but also leave you to your own devices. The pool is beautiful, the restaurant area is great and the food was fantastic. There are so many great bars and restaurants within 5/10 minutes walk. The hotel have bikes and scooters that you can use for free. Never used a scooter before so I used a bike and cycled to the beach for sunrise. Plenty of markets nearby, places to book excursions, supermarkets/convenient stores, bars, restaurants, beaches. Perfect location and perfect hotel. Thank you for such a beautiful stay.

What makes this hotel perfect is the staff, the location and the property. It’s an oasis from the busy street that is just around the corner so shopping, spas, tour guides, massages, other restaurants/bars and the beach are all walkable. Or you can use one of the free bicycles they provide. The room is big, clean and a very comfortable with a king bed, work area, large walk in shower, stocked mini fridge, robes and flip flops… and the pool view was wonderful with a private balcony, sofa and drying rack so we could reuse our towels and dry our swim suits. The people here are excellent and always welcome you and ask how everything is going. Any issues and they solve it. Bintang beer is offered by the bucked for an amazing Price as is the 2 for one happy hour drinks. We are many of our meals at Selada Restaurant that is part of the hotel. Great selection of food and we never had any stomach issues. The a la cart breakfast and buffet was perfect and made to order. Eggs and stuff or an Bali breakfast. You won’t be sorry if you stay here and get a pool view room. We loved it.

True to its description, the Akana was a beautiful tastefully decorated Boutique Hotel. Pool area divine, staff very friendly and helpful. Room lovely and large with balcony. Great area, lots of bars, restaurants, live music and very on trend shopping. The beach was just a short walk . With lots of 5 star properties ensuring that the beach was always pristine. One minor complaint, was that the room wasn’t made up until late in the day. Wouldn’t have noticed, but we we’re recovering from the flu and looking for an afternoon nap 🙄 but I’m sure if I asked they would have been happy to oblige. 5star at a 3 star price. Would definitely recommend.

Loved staying here. The bed were so comfortable, the rooms were lovely and the semi out door bathroom was great. The pool was really nice, plenty of choice for breakfast, the staff are friendly and helpful. Walking distance to so many great restaurants, massages, shopping and the beach. Really great value.
