Ons pension ligt in het hart van de historische wijk Baker, in een hippe, afwisselende, stedelijke omgeving. Het appartement ligt aan een rustige, met bomen omzoomde straat en weerspiegelt een eclectische, artistieke stijl. Er is originele kunst overal in de plaats, bakstenen muren, hardhouten vloeren, keramische tegels en een mix van oud en nieuw. Het is leuk, ontspannen en zeer comfortabel. En we hebben de oude bank vervangen door een nieuwe!

Dit is een geweldige plek om te verblijven in Denver, of u nu op zoek bent naar werk of om te spelen. Het idee voor ons pension was om een ​​plek te creëren die we zouden willen blijven terwijl we in de stad zijn!

Deze accommodatie op de begane grond is 650 m² groot en heeft een eigen ingang naar uw huis weg van huis, met parkeerstappen op straat van uw voordeur. Het heeft 1 grote slaapkamer met kantoor, WiFi, een complete keuken met een vaatwasser en een magnetron. Plus een wasmachine / droger in het apparaat.

De slaapkamer is erg groot met een queensize bed en er is een bureau en een werkruimte. Alle kantoorbenodigdheden die hier worden bewaard, kunnen worden gebruikt, waaronder een HP-printer. Gasten kunnen de kunstbenodigdheden zelfs gebruiken als ze willen.

Er is een gedeeld terras uit de slaapkamer met een gasgrill die zich in een prachtige, volgroeide tuin bevindt. Onze gasten vinden deze functie erg leuk, ze zeggen dat het een geweldige plek is om te zitten en te genieten van hun koffie in de ochtend.

Een wandeling van drie blokken naar unieke boetieks, vintage meubelzaken, indiefilms, boekhandels, koffiehuizen, yoga, pilates en een geweldige mix van restaurants en uitgaansgelegenheden. Een paar nieuwe distilleerderijen zijn geopend, waaronder de lokaal in bezit zijnde Denver-distilleerderij.

Zes blokken lopen naar lightrail, een 3 minuten rijden naar de Santa Fe Arts District met tal van galerijen, een 5 tot 7 minuten rijden naar het centrum en op 10 minuten rijden naar het Cherry Creek winkelgebied. U kunt wandelen of rijden naar het Denver Art Museum, het Clyfford Still Museum en het net geopende Kirkland Museum voor Fine & Decorative Art.

Veel van onze gasten zijn reizende verpleegsters, die op zoek zijn naar hun thuis weg van huis terwijl ze voor langere tijd in nabijgelegen ziekenhuizen werken, grootouders die een eigen plekje willen blijven terwijl ze hun kinderen en nieuwe kleinkinderen bezoeken, en koppels op vakantie.

Absolutely amazing stay

Bari was an incredible host. I stayed for the month and had nothing but a great experience. The place is so cute, easily walkable to south broadway and very cozy. I loved the outside space and worked out there most days. The garden was very cute! I have nothing negative to say at all.

Perfect location, gracious host

I stayed about a month and half at Bari's place and it was a perfect medium-term stay in Denver. The Baker neighborhood is very walkable and bike-able. So much so that I rarely drove my car (except to drive up into the mountains). I really enjoyed the art in the apartment and everything was functional although some appliances / furniture are starting to show their age. Bari was one of the most responsive host I've had the pleasure to communicate with. The train horns are disturbing as another review mentioned, and since it's an older building, you can hear the neighbors and various utility noises but you get used to it. Overall, I would recommend it!

Cozy hidden gem

We really enjoyed our long term stay at Bari’s place! We had everything we needed to get started in a new state after moving cross country. The location was perfect for us and we were able to explore all of the neighborhoods in Denver easily from Baker. There are tons of places that are walkable and the neighborhood is lovely. Quaint space for a getaway!

Bari and his property were great! My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 months & worked remotely during the week. Walkable neighborhood & perfect size for 2! There is a train that runs through that can be quite loud in the middle of the night (scared me the first few nights) but not something that would deter me from coming back. Awesome spot!!!

Quiet area in a bustling neighborhood

My partner and I rented Bari’s Guest House for a long-term stay, and it was everything that we could have hoped for. Parking was on street, but we never had an issue finding a space. Great restaurants, breweries and shopping can be found within a 5 minute walk, and Trader Joe’s is a 7 minute drive. The in-unit laundry and dishwasher were on the smaller side, but it is absolutely perfect for 1-2 people. The bed and couch were both extremely comfortable, and the heat kept us warm during a Rocky Mountain winter. From check-in to check-out, Bari was a gracious, welcoming host, I would recommend this property to friends, family, or anyone looking to spend some time in the amazing city of Denver.

Fantastic stay in Baker

My girlfriend and I lived here for a month while working remotely in Denver. We loved the neighborhood and how walkable all the Broadway shops and restaurants are. We truly didn’t want to leave. We rely on fast internet for our jobs and we were able to make video calls no problem. Such a good location, cozy apartment with everything you’ll need, and very friendly neighbors. We highly recommend a stay here!

An Amazing Month

If you’re looking for a comfortable, quaint place to stay in an AMAZING neighborhood, look no further! My boyfriend and I both work remotely, and were able to WFH from this Vrbo full-time for a month. We absolutely loved the fact that this place is only a few blocks from South Broadway, and found tons of great restaurants and bars that we’ll miss immensely now that we’re gone. Additionally, because this place is close to downtown, Ubers to Ball Arena, The Paramount, and other similar places are cheap and easy to get! As skiers, we were able to get to Breck/Keystone in 1.5 hours, and Vail in under 2. We love this place so much, and wish we could’ve stayed longer! Thanks for the memories, Denver! We’ll be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home in the Baker District. The home was comfortably furnished with all necessary for a lengthy stay including a full kitchen and washer and dryer. There was an desk in the bedroom and a printer. There are a number of original works of art created by the owner which add to the ambience of the apartment. The patio in the rear was comfortable for having all our meals and the large side yard, unusual for this part of Denver, was a pleasant place to sit. There are two permanent residents in the building who were very welcoming and helpful. The Baker District is a residential area that is evolving. We took many walks in the evenings and looked at the houses and the gardens. A major commerical street, Broadway, in just 3-4 block from the home. I would highly recommend this rental. Roger B. Cozy and Convenient!

We loved this property, the location and the people! This apartment was perfect. It felt like a home away from home. It had everything that you could think of. Kitchen fully stocked-we cooked 3 meals a day in this kitchen for 4 months and had all the pots/pans/utensils that you need. Large comfortable bed/bedroom. Lots of really hot water! Great little patio for morning coffee and perfect garden for our dog. The location was great! The property is located on a dead end street so not much traffic. Street parking was never an issue. The location is minutes away-walking distance- to coffee shops, restaurants, entertainment, parks and more. Grocery store just around the corner too. I felt very safe walking in the evenings or coming home late at night. Very nice park a block away. Bari, Mike and Leslie are awesome! I felt like I was leaving family! Thank you Bari for everything! Home Away From Home

Living here for a month had an instant but lasting “homey” feeling, like one has always been in this apt and in this lovely neighborhood. The apt feels like a home, not a sterile (hotel) interior with mass produced furnishings forgettable the minute one departs. I will remember this place well and the kind, bighearted owner plus the gracious neighbors who all impressed me with indelibly good memories.
