'Bij check in tijd (14:00) was kamer niet gereed, pas gereed om 16:45!!! Dit doordat er masr 1 kamermeisje was. Gevraagd om manager maar was in besprekking, drie dagen lang! Bij douchen kwam water omhoog vanuit afvoer waardoor badkamer en slaapkamer nat werden, dit elke dag opnieuw, geen oplossing door personeel, en manager was plotseling op vakantie '

'Staying in the watergate hotel in Butuan city was a disappointing experience. At the crowded front desk they announced they had to charge 1000 pesos for a blood spot in one towel. My wife felt already bad she left a blood spot on her towel due to her menstrual cycle. But felt worse after receiving a penalty for it. We are decent people and regular travelers but never experienced this humiliation at the crowded front desk. '

'Wow. I did not realize I’d find such an elegant yet affordable hotel on Mindanao. Everything was perfect from the staf to the last minute accommodations for an unplanned additional guest to free airport shuttle service, right down to the added touch of our towels being folded into kissing swans. And all of this in a location that is smack in the middle of everything downtown. I have nothing negative to say. Only thanks for a great stay.'

'First off, there's not really any parking. The area is very busy and very noisy at all hours. There is no elevator. The shower drain was clogged and we had to take our showers very fast. Our 6 year old spilled some chocolate milk on the bed, I was charged 500 pesos for a "cleaning fee" to wash bed sheets they needed to wash anyway. Definitely would not recommend.'

'I have severe allergies by the time we checked out in the morning. I came to find out that there cats stay and rooming around upstairs where all the rooms that costumer stayed in. It was specifically mention ab po it the cats. I have severe Asthma and allergies so this trigger on and was sick for few days.'
