The staff seemed kind of lost and confused most of the time. I had trouble catching staff a few times when I needed something. I’d be waiting at the front desk for 15+ minutes, even when coming in from outside and making some noise to try to have them notice me. My key got deactivated mid-stay because they checked us out on the wrong day. Our heater/AC didn’t work in our room but they gave us an extra blanket. Our room was either cold or hot and stuffy, there was no in between. There was a dirty sock on the floor when we arrived. The room had ants everywhere and any food we brought in was immediately attacked and had to be thrown out. The hot tub was closed and the pool was so cold we couldn’t get in it. There was a man sleeping in the stairwell when I came up from getting a water from the vending machine which made me feel unsafe. I was woken up multiple times from people in the hallway, someone banged on our door in the middle of the night and the smell of weed was so strong it woke me up.
It did seem like they were doing some renovations - someone was painting the hallway when we arrived and our room was fairly decent. The bed was very comfortable- honestly, one of the best hotel beds I’ve stayed in- however, it was loud and squeaked when you moved. The water pressure was great in the shower. For the most part the room was clean, minus the sock.
I’m not sure I would stay here again. You get what you paid for and thankfully it wasn’t much.
