'The only issue I had was with the slides. The rules on what life jacket to wear wasn’t posted anywhere. My son went down one slide with a life jacket and the second time was told he couldn’t wear that one. He had to wear one that buckled in the back not in the front. The rules weren’t posted on the life jackets. '

'Our family of four (mom, daughter, grandma, grandpa) had a wonderful 4-night stay at the Cartier apartment. The location was just right us: close to the river, the capitol building, and downtown. Having a parking space included was fantastic. Check-in was easy and communication with hosts was excellent. We appreciated having the balcony for having our morning coffee and watching fireworks on the 4th and the sunsets each evening. We recommend!v'

'The Babes loved EVERYTHING about the Love Shack. Tiffany is an amazing host and very easy to communicate with - so responsive to requests and questions! I think she is quite possibly the best VRBO host I’ve worked with. The property is inviting and just joyful. The neighborhood is lovely and safe! Next door neighbors even offered us candy and goodies! How fun is that?! Close to everything we wanted to see! Definitely would recommend. And Des Moines is a fantastic city!'

'This was our first trip to Iowa and it didn’t disappoint. The rental unit was in the perfect location for walking to multiple attractions such as the state capital and the botanical gardens as well as downtown. The unit was well appointed with amenities, and we felt very safe in the area and throughout our travels across the city. I would definitely recommend a trip to Des Moines with a stay in this rental property. It was perfect for us. '

'We had a fun time staying at this house. We visited downtown Des Moines and had a great time at Adventureland. The only suggestion would be to have some dish towels in the kitchen. The arcade games, ping pong table and skee-ball were popular with the kids. '
