Clean room, dead battery on door, room phone not working, no safe, limited hot water. Had two rooms and wanted connectivity, hotel staff said it could be done, manager said No. I am not staying at this hotel again!

Brett was friendly and helpful. Room was clean, bed soft. Close to many stores and restaurants. Waking to the sound of Dumpster/Garbage Truck noise at 4:20am was not pleasant.

I booked two rooms with (accessibility) thorugh Expedia. When I arrived ! was given one room very different from the other. The smaller room had a bed pushed up agaist the wall. I could not believe that this was adequate for someone who needed more access points. When I went to share my concerns with the front desk I was told I had to deal with Expedia as they were responsible for booking the two different rooms. I called Expedia and they worked on having me moved to another room. They cancelled my room and re booked me for another room. When I went to the front desk as directed by Expedia no information was sent to Hampton Inn and they were unable to move me to another room. Now I have to call Expedia again to have confirmation numbers given directly to the fron desk over the phone. I was charged more money for the alternate room. My issue: Why did Expedia book me two different rooms? Should I not be made aware of the avaiabilty? Even when Expedia tries to solve the issue they did not follow through to ensure all was communicated with the Hotel. Why am I being charged more money when it was Expedia that messed up? Lastly, I do not like Hampton Inn blaming Expedia or vice versa. As partners in business this is not a good practice. This is a bigger problem than the Hampton Inn. This is customer service issues with Expedia. I am a Gold member with Expedia and I have booked most every stay through Expedia. I think it is time for a change!

The property was being renovated when I stayed. The staff was very friendly and responsive. While not a walkable area, you are near a bunch of shopping and dining options. The fact it's just off I-275 is a plus.

We have stayed here before, and my general feeling was that it was ok. Not so this time. First, we were never notified that the property was under renovation. The signage implied it was just the 2nd floor. That's where they put us. If anything else had been available, we should have been put there. (Don't know if anything else was available.) Next, our renovations had been completed, but there were spots where the debris hadn't been cleaned up. Told front desk, but nothing done. Next, despite the renovations, the air conditioner unit was old and stunningly loud. Finally, the toilet was so low that I felt like I was doing deep knee bends/squats to use it. Might as well have been in pre-WWII Japan. Will not be going back to this property, even though it is convenient.

Clean, friendly staff but no privacy
Upon check in we were greeted by a very friendly woman behind the counter. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable however, the walls must be paper thin. At night we could hear the people in the room next to us almost like they were in our room. The breakfast was really quite nice and the area was clean and well stocked with food.

Great hotel!
I liked the hotel. It is very comfortable and I felt safe since I stayed by myself. Great customer service, specially Leonardo who helped me with an issue with Expedia.com. I would stay again and will recommend this hotel to all my friends and family.

We stayed in one of the newer rooms. It was amazing and very clean. I have never slept better on a hotel bed. The person that checked us in was so pleasant and had a great sense of humor.

Not bad but no pool like we were told.
This is a decent hotel, but we were quite upset because we were told they had an open pool and then we check in and are told it has been closed for months. My kids had their bathing suits and were very upset.

We have only stayed Saturday and Sunday and we have only saw two personnel people. The receptionist was very nice, the breakfast person was not speaking much. There was a lot of construction around the building during the day which did not add to a comfort of stay. I was hoping Sunday will be a day off but it was not.

There was no pool or hot tub, no ice on 2nd floor. There was construction everywhere. I don’t mind upgrades, however we should have been warned ahead of time and should have been offered a discount for the inconvenience.

I was not aware that the hotel was under construction. I probably still would have made a reservation but would have appreciated the heads up. Construction dust affects my allergies, so I placed a towel under the door to help. Check in staff was first rate.

The pool was closed and the hotel was undergoing renovations. This info was not shared with our party until after check in. The hotel was in various stages of dis-repair and we were kept up all night from slamming doors. The manager, Leonardo, refused to refund our night's stay and was unapologetic for the inconveniance. I would not reccommend staying there.

I wish I had known before booking that the hotel was under major renovations. Pulling up, I was afraid they were closed. There were very few cars in the parking lot, pieces were missing from the awning, and the entire side of the building was covered in construction plastic & cardboard. There were signs construction activities were from 10-5. Loud thumping scared me at 7am when I was in the shower as exterior building work had already started. The AC didn't work well & it rattled. My room has a chemical smell. The bed was lumpy. The layout in the building was confusing. Service was good & friendly. Breakfast seemed good but I didn't have time to try it. I believe the pool was closed. I would have picked somewhere else to stay had I been aware of the major construction activities.

Under construction, but met our needs
Exterior was under construction, seemed like interior had recently been updated but various updates (like fixtures, elevators, and carpet) were haphazardly installed. Everything else was good and met expectations. Breakfast was above average for a Hampton Inn. Would stay again, but might not suggest to friends with certain standards.

Got to hotel and was told AFTER I was check in in that cable was out. No offer of any compensation (snacks, meal voucher, etc). Was then told around 10:00 last night that cable was back on (I went for a late dinner to kill time) - unfortunately, that was also inaccurate. Fortunately I was only there for a night.
