It felt unprofessional to not have a person there physically. Sure there was a person on the screen, but i couldn’t understand what she was saying due to the low volume and incredibly loud ice machine next to the kiosk.

'Effingham is my typical stop when I travel for work. I used to stay at the LaQuinta across the street from this hotel, but it has really become ragged and worn down over the last two years. This hotel is much newer and their housekeeping team is doing a great job. Every time I stay here, my room is very clean, as is the lobby, parking lot, etc. The little details matter and they are on top of things. I appreciate that and will continue to be a regular customer.'

The staff was fabulous in checking in guests who were seeking shelter during the threat of a tornado as well as meeting their needs.
They remained calm, collected, kind and caring throughout the evening!
I was most impressed that they had two rooms available for shelter in the event that the tornado was spotted in the vicinity!'
