'Het was wel erg veel geld voor een super klein hokje. Raam zat erg hoog en kon niet open. Er werden heel veel plastic wegwerp bekers gebruikt.'

'Friendly staff, nicely kept grounds with mango, banana and papaya trees, clean sparkling swimming pools, good made to order breakfast. Big rooms, quiet area. Just 5 mins walk to Playa Hermosa beach. Nice restaurant with live music, though a little pricey.'

'Staff were very warm & friendly. Room was to die for. Bed facing private deck with private infinity pool connecting with the ocean & horizon!!! Didn’t really need to leave the room ….except that it was wonderful going up for breakfast every morning (overlooking the whole bay)….or having a drink & some food poolside by the restaurant. Walking down the hill to Las Catalinas & back gave us the cardio we needed. My favorite hotel in the world ! '

'The place is beautiful, very close to the beaches, it is also very clean. The only concern I have is that I didn't have hot water to bath. I had to stay 2 days and I couldn't take a shower with hot water and I didn't like that'

'Geweldig hotel direct aan het strand. Het strand zelf is rustig en de zee heeft een heerlijke temperatuur. Er komen zelf apen over het terrein 🐒 Ruime kamer met een goede badkamer en een goede douche. Restaurant is ook goed. Zeker een aanrader!'

'The staff at the hotel are amazing! Great breakfast is included. The rooms are very basic with two queen beds with sheets for bedding. The AC worked great. The shower does not have hot water but the bathroom was clean and had fresh towels every day. The location is absolutely gorgeous and it’s perfect for walking around town. '

'The garden suite was wonderful as was the entire property. So unique, peaceful and an excellent viewing of the stars from the lookout site. But what stood out though was the fantastic service from Paulo, Johnny and Luis and everyone else, who treated us as if we were the most important people in the world. Attached to Hotel Karao is quaint Coffee Shop Karao, Small outdoor patio, great coffee and wonderful Chocolate Banana Bread and many other baked breakfast food items. Bottled water, Front Desk and coffee shop staffed 7am-5pm. Check in 24/7, but you will be given code to retrieve room keys after about 5 pm. Phone number of local owners to help is posted if you have an issue. Staff was exceptional and friendly. Very clean and attentive....

'Het Hotel ligt op een mooie plek aan het strand met veel groen. Goede ontvangst. Vriendelijk personeel en kleinschalig. Jammer dat het restaurant matig was en de badkamer sterk verouderd, waardoor het ook niet echt goed schoon te krijgen is(voegen en kapotte tegels) Een klamboe zou ook wel fijn zijn!'
