'Ottantotto is a wonderful boutique hotel very close to Piazza Santo Spirito and easy walking distance to Ponte Vecchio and Pitti Palace. Very nicely decorated clean rooms and garden area. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast. Instructions for access to the property are great. Would strongly recommend to stay in OLTRARNO (other side of the Arno) as this part of Florence is really nice and less touristic....AND close to all interesting sights!'

'No problems getting into the property - good communication from the property in advance and responsive to enquiries. Room was well equipped- kettle and fridge, hairdryer, small safe in the roomy wardrobe and room for my case to stand around. TV (no English stations). WiFi . We're all a bit used to fancier bathrooms in even cheap hotel chains and the shower stall in the room could do with a refresh but it was all clean and the shower was good and hot and worked well. 'The staff were truly wonderful at Hotel Piazza Pitti Palace and Letizia made sure we were completely welcomed and comfortable immediately on arrival which was a lovely personal touch. The location of the hotel is terrific, we were able to see so much of what Florence had to offer for dining and site seeing and the suites were very clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. 10/10 we will definitely be staying there again amazing birthday treat! 'We are a family of 4 who had the pleasure in staying at the Fornace Suites. The staff is very friendly. Although their lobby isn't 24 hour we were given numbers on how to reach staff if there were any issues or needed anything.
