'The best dog friendly rental we have stayed in so far. The house was clean, the beds comfortable, nicely updated and the rustic decor charming. Scaly mountain is between Highlands NC and Dillard Ga, so close enough either way to enjoy shopping and restaurants but rural enough to feel like you live in the country. Lots of dog friendly hiking trails nearby. Loved the front porch with its swing and cool evenings, and the fire pit. Definitely recommend.'

'This was a fantastic place to stay! Beautiful cottage, very homey and comfortable. One bedroom with a queen bed and a second bedroom with a twin size, full laundry, fire pit, wrap around porch. Just great mountain views and a very clean place. The driveway is quite steep; don't attempt with a low vehicle. Crystal, the owner was extremely friendly and helpful! Highly recommended -- we will definitely be back. '

The place was vey spacious and clean, had everything we needed, internet was great, and the record player was a fun touch to our evening. The host was wonderful!
