'Bar staff very friendly'

'I am confused: Some things are good, Some things are bad. Bed bugs, i haven’t seen, bad vacuüm cleaning i have seen. Toilet reservoir took minutes to fill up again. Nice shower stuff, water hot/cold good, but Fungus on the kit edges is present. Also the rusted bathroom stuff i have seen: Why? Breakfast: problably a UK issue no cheese and/or ham present.'

'This was the nicest overall stay of our entire trip in Scotland. We planned it as a break between Skye and Speyside and it exceeded expectations. Robie made sure we were well fed and entertained at the bar. Thanks to all the other staff that checked on us during our stay. '

'Location is great. While apt looks fairly recently renovated, housekeeping leaves a lot to be desired. The bathroom fan was broken; the mold and cigarette smoke smell was strong. The bedroom floor was covered with hair. There was no soap in any of three dispensers. Only one kitchen chair. While maintenance was responsive, they could not replace the fan during our stay. The manager did not respond to my text or email. '

'Beautiful hotel on the ground floor, lots of space to sit and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Friendly staff. The hotel has a lot of charm. However, the room is very basic and misses any charm, the mattress is old and uncomfortable and outdated bathroom. Breakfast was also very basic.'

'I pre-booked the hotel weeks before I traveled. The website said that the retreat house had restaurants, lounge, and bar amenities that I thought would be useful for my stay. The restaurant was not opened when we arrived. The bar//lounge had no staff. We asked the only employee we ever saw when the restaurant would be open and she said it’s only open for breakfast. We came downstairs in the morning at 8:30. The sign on the dining room said that breakfast was served at eight to ten. No one to be...

'The bed sheets seemed to have used before.The heating couldn’t be turned off. The bed nearly fell apart and, finally, the lamp needed to be replaced. Some reviews are more positive, so, maybe we were the unfortunate ones. The boy at reception really tried hard to set things right. Couldn’t blame him. '
