'First of all, its close to the train station and various busses which is a bonus. the price of the room was a bargain and provided what we needed just fine, a bed, tv, kettle, cups, shower? toilet and cupboards, so 5* for that. we were on top floor which wasnt mentioned on the room directions on the ground floor, just said to room 21 but missed out 22. there was no plug in the sink and no details for the free wifi so couldnt get internet. the checkout time advertised was 11 and the door lock...

'We waren op doorreis van St. Austell naar Southampton. Parkeren kon voor de deur. De manager is zeer hartelijk en behulpzaam. Kamer was netjes. Douche en toilet op de gang, maar geen problem. Ontbijt was prima. Ik bevel dit Hotel dan ook ten zeerste aan.'

'Nicola was the best hostess I could wish for. She made me feel truly welcome and at home, and was always happy to help with anything. 'On arrival no staff just a pin number sent to access room. On entering i sat on mattress and nearly fell through as its so thin and missing so many springs plus springs went straight into bottom. The tiny light on wall had no bulb in and was rusty and dirty. Room was dirty no wonder it was £30 for a night'

'Heel mooi gelegen in het centrum met gratis parkeren. Inchecken lukte niet direkt maar snel opgelost. lastig als je slecht ter been bent, geen lift en veel trappen lopen. Ontbijt prima, kamer groot genoeg met een goed bed. Had wat schoner gekund, als er no geld op de vloer ligt is er al even niet goed schoon gemaakt.'

'Dit hotel heb ik (reisagent) geboekt als 5 sterren accomodatie. Het blijkt een 5 sterrenkeuken/restaurant te zijn met kamers. De hotelkamers doen ze er een beetje bij, als restaurantgasten willen blijven slapen, na hun diner. Er is ook geen aparte receptie, maar meteen bij de ingang een desk waar de restaurantgasten zich melden. Buitenkant en omgeving van hotel stelt erg teleur, verouderd, wordt nu wel geschilderd.
