'I booked a week before I needed the place. I was unable to get any form of response from this host, and the phone number was disconnected. Beware of that when dealing with this host, as something might happen when they’re just dropping off the face of earth. This situation canceled the day I was supposed to check in, and cost me $150 extra as I took my money to a competitor.'

'Location was perfect for our quick college visit to Howard University. Walkable to Whole Foods and places to eat. Host was extremely accommodating and quick with responding. Check in instructions were clear and we had no issues. We would definitely book again if our student decides to go to Howard University next year! '

'A friend and I spent five nights at Sojourn and it was a delight. Before we arrived, the owners were responsive to our emails clarifying the lodging. Check in was easy and the apartment was clean and inviting. The kitchen is well stocked with all you need for cooking-not always something at other apartments I have stayed at. Bedrooms and beds were comfortable and bathroom had ample good linens as well as shampoo and lotion. We would stay there again.'

'The unit is very conveniently located in Chinatown, next to a Metro stop, and 15 minute walk to the Mall. A great place to stay for a sightseeing stay. It is roomy enough for two people but not more. The sofa bed is basically a large foam mattress on the floor, but comfy. The ice maker was broken and the remote for the TV died, and there were no spare batteries. Our main complaint is that while we were on our way, we got an email saying that the lockbox was broken and we had to go to a location...

'This was one of our favorite short-term rentals to date. The location was great and the host Anthony was terrific. Most importantly, the condo was very clean and well-appointed with designer touches. We really appreciated the fast wifi, coffee maker (and coffee beans), and bags of ice in the freezer. The bird-themed decor and furniture was designer-level. There was also ample outdoor space with two balconies and a rooftop patio! Highly recommended. '

'I loved everything about the apartment and the host.The only problem we had was at check in. The host hadn't told us ANYTHING about when she planned to send us the key information, so when it was 2 min after check in time, and I still hadn't heard ANYTHING, I panicked. Then, at 4 min after check in time, the key information arrived via email. All was well after that.Great apartment! Comfy beds! Thanks!'

'Attended several events and found transportation between the apartment and venues was easy.Also found a couple real good local eateries in close walking distance.'

'Property close to all popular attractions, but not walking distance! We used uber to go most places as parking is very hard to find! Property itself was very nice! Only minor issues. Host was very accommodating when there was an issue. Never could get the tv to work in living room, but we were not there to watch tv anyway!'

'We really enjoyed this apartment. It is very well located, close to Dupont Circle and the Metro there, restaurants, grocery stores and a CVS drugstore. It is also close to the Phillips Collection, which we love. The kitchen was quite well stocked, with all the cookware and dishes we needed and even oil, vinegar and some spices in the pantry. A good washer and dryer are right outside the front door of the apartment (in a closet) , with a cleaners downstairs if you are not inclined to do your own...
