'Good for a long stay, though it can feel busy. My room had a large gap between the door and the frame, so you could see people walking by and even into the room if you looked closely. Because of that gap, you could also open the door with any card by aiming at the latch. The staff said this had been reported, they must really fix it. Luckily, I was able to move to another room. They promised that if something opens the door, they will shoulder your stay.'

The fellow did come quickly and he was very nice but it’s like the place isn’t busy enough to have someone at the desk full time. Doors locked and no one around in the morning. 'Breakfast was ordinary and the room keys kept getting demagnetized. However, the place was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the staff were kind and helpful. All in all, we were happy with our experience here.'

'Excellent place to stay. Cute cabin perfect for what we needed. Camp fire hot tub perfect. Heating and AC fan and fridge in room plus coffee maker. Could rent bikes there too. Loved our stay there.'

'Nice variety at breakfast. Lack of furniture on the king room awkward. Would have been nice to have a sofa and coffee table for morning coffee. To remove dirty furniture is good, but not replacing it is just weird on the part of CanAlta. we paid full rate same as other guests who HAD furniture. Have stayed at CanAlta several locations and always had a fully furnished room on the past.'
