'Set near the top of Lubowa hill, Royal Victoria is quiet and very relaxing with a plant filled compound.
The staff made me feel at home with daily chats on my needs (meals, etc). It's good value for money for a relaxing break.'

'We stayed 5 nights at this hotel. Had dinner there every night. It was such a Good stay. Best in Kampala. Clean, safe, brilliant food, friendly staff. Location I don’t know How Good it is. But it all depends where you’re going. Good to avoid traffic in downtown Kampala.
If chef Onyango Godfrey is on - Get the Tikka Masala. One of the best I’ve ever had. And I love indian food.

'I spent 3-weeks here. The staff were friendly, accommodating and helpful at all times. The rooms are not the Taj-Mahal, but nor should such be expected at this price-point. For the price, the beds were good, the bathrooms/rooms were kept clean, and the water was hot.
Breakfast is on time each morning, and is a solid continental as promised. The restaurant has a good variety of foods, and prepares each to any taste request. Try the liver - OMG it is done in a delicious sauce! '
