'I was the only person staying at this hotel which was a bit disconcerting as it really is in thr middle of nowhere - about 1.3 km off the camino. But it is excellent. The staff could not have been nicer, and more accommodating. Even though i was the only person staying, they still put out the full dinner and breakfast buffet. I was treated like a king! If you want somewhere truly rural, a bit off the camino (i walked back to it the next day in 25 mins), this is an interesting, unique, peaceful...

'La verdad hemos quedado encantados con el hotel y el servicio extraordinario que nos dieron Patricia, Daniel y Francisco! Hicieron hasta lo imposible por atendernos y hacer mucho mas de lo necesario para hacernos sentir en casa. El hotel espectacular! El edificio de piedra está como nuevo, muy bien restaurado porque es de 1815. Está muy bien ubicado. Nos recomendaron un excelente restaurant muy cerca y a menos de 10 minutos en auto está la catedral de Santiago de Compostela. Lo recomendamos...

'The apartment we stayed in was amazing - Lole and Tere were very accommodating. The food was fantastic, especially the shrimp and the steak. The pick up from the bar on the camino worked perfectly and the drop off was equally easy. The place is beautiful and the staff work really hard. It was a perfect place to stay while walking the camino.'

'Not on The Camino to Santiago (2 hours on foot from Palas de Rei) but a great stop if you want an idyllic getaway in the middle of your pilgrimage, gorgeous views and facilities, Gourmet food and extremely delicious dishes you will not find anywhere else typical of Galicia. We were extremely impressed with the two bathroom comfortable accommodations and very spacious layout.'
