'This hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the JR Takamatsu train station (which itself appears to be a major bus hub with both express and local buses). Maybe a 5 minute walk on from the JR station is the Kotoden Takamatsu-chikko train station for other connections. Not much further away is the ferry port which has ferries to Shodoshima, Naoshima and other places. In summary, the hotel is in an excellent location for transportation. I should mention there is another Toyoko Inn hotel slightly...

'The villa was good, a lot of space and well equipped. Communication was completely via email, which is a bit anonymous. We didn’t have any problems, but I don’t know how it would have worked out only via email if there were one. Quite complicated to get transport for non Japanese people. '
