'Prompt attention to an electrical problem. Walk all over historic Galway. Quiet. Walking distance from the train and bus stations. Many restaurants within 1-2 blocks. Parking for 12 Euros around the corner. '

'Host was extremely friendly and personable. Breakfast was excellent. Only issue was one has to drive 5 to 10 minutes for dinner which may be an issue if you want to enjoy a couple of pints. Having said that, we would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.'

'This place has charm. Kate was an absolutely lovely host. She gave me great recommendations on what to do in the area. Her Irish hospitality is unmatched. The room was unique and had character. The shower/tub was my favorite out of any of my other stays on this trip. So spacious. I would definitely stay at Wild Honey Inn again in the future. '

'Very clean, comfortable, spacious enough for one night, contemporary but not cold design. Located across a public (paying) parking lot. Very close to pubs, stores, restaurants in city centre, but very quiet at night.'

'It was approximately 3/4 mile from city center - we are walkers so that was fine. The bus picks up right out front. The restaurant was excellent and wait staff good and helpful with suggestions for sightseeing. '

'The Snug gives you exactly what it advertises: a bed, a shower and a toilet. That's all. But I didn't need more because in a town like Galway, I was out by 8:30 and back by midnight. The location is absolutely where you want to be, right on Quay Street where a lot of great pubs are, but you can be in the Claddagh and by Galway bay within minutes as well (to spot some seals!). The staff was great too. The only complaint I can utter was that fire alarm going off twice in the first night because...

'Modern well appointed and nicely decorated room with comfortable bed. On arrival we had expected to meet the host but there was a card with wifi and room number on a table. We missed the personal touch we had experienced at other locations. Breakfast was mostly self help but the cooked breakfast was requested and served. A short drive to pub restaurants is better than walking to them. Good location for trips to the islands or cliffs.'

The staff was great too. The only complaint I can utter was that fire alarm going off twice in the first night because some idiot smoked in his room, it took quite long before it was taken care of. Besides that, fantastic week, fantastic stay. "
