'The hotel is modernized and has all the facilities that are needed for a good stay. It is too far to walk to the city center but all the needs are in the hotel so no need to leave the property. We enjoyed Lamego during a week of festivities which was recommended by the hotel and was much fun!'

'Fabulous hotel - almost Belmond but not quite. Rooms are excellent (must comfortable beds with down pillows). Breakfast is superb. Pool service a bit sporadic but overall the staff were wonderful. '
