This was our second vacation stay at Hummingbird Haven. This property is clean, well maintained, well equipped, and beautifully surrounded by all the nature one could ask for. While some may find the tri-level layout a little challenging to navigate at first, it quickly becomes an afterthought and you adjust. Living/kitchen/outdoor deck/one bath - level two, bedrooms/baths - levels one and three. The hosts have thoughtfully laid out just about everything for you, from labeling important features (light switches, kitchen cabinets, closets, etc,) to providing a binder full of how-to’s and outside activity opportunities. There is plenty to do around the cabin- board games, cards, video games, ping-pong and foosball tables, horseshoe pit, and private campfire ring (season permitting). Beyond that, away from the cabin, depending on the season, nearby snow skiing, boating, ATV/snowmobile trails, hiking. So much fun and adventure awaits with proper planning. Bring the family! I highly recommend Hummingbird Haven for its serene beauty, peacefulness, and tranquility if that is a goal as well. It’s very quiet in early mornings and evenings, perfect for getting away from treadmill of city living routines. The hosts are great and only a text or phone call away if a request or need arises, otherwise, stay safe, follow the rules, and enjoy!
