'The neighbourhood was quiet and peaceful, which we appreciated. Check-in was straightforward. The keys were easy to locate as described. The house was clean inside, apart from the oven. However, the exterior was poorly maintained, with building materials, empty bottles and cans, overgrown grass and weeds, cobwebs, and a clothesline in disrepair. The listing itself was accurate, but the property fell short of the quality we expected for the price. Compared to many other properties we’ve stayed at,...

'We had a fun time with our stay, it was cozy and comfortable. The kids had a fun time watching wallabies and kangaroos and it is very close to a massive white sand beach. It was great seeing wild life around and the fire place was great. The bathroom was suprisingly spacious and comfortable to use and the whole place is complete of cookeries we needed for our stay. I definitely recommend this to couples for a get-away stay. '

'A perfect spot if you are looking for a new experience away from the hotels and crowd. The bus is conveniently located just off the road from the ferry terminal. 'Perfecte plek om te overnachten vlak voor of na een reis naar Kangaroo Island. Café aan overkant die food serveert.'

'This tiny house is perfect for a couple staying in American River. Yes, it’s a modified caravan, but it felt roomy, well lit and is tastefully decorated & fitted out. We really enjoyed our stay!'

'The cabin was as described. It was cosy and we loved the quirkiness of the fish theme which is exactly why picked it as my husband loves fishing. We were very comfortable. '

'Staying in this cute cabin was one of the highlights of our trip. It had everything we needed and was super comfortable. Nice area to sit outside. Very clean and well decorated. The "fish" theme was carried throughout including fish shaped cookies without being "kitschy" or over-the-top. All of the little touches were impressive, including local brochures in a tackle box. Lovely garden area with very cute wallabies at night. You share a wall with other guests but everyone was quiet in evening....

'We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at Mr and Mrs fish and chips!! Very clean and tidy Extremely quiet location Enjoyed seeing the resident koala with baby.'

'No view. House OK but a lot of stuff on verandah, ie crates of empty bottles , tools and a bag of something. Definitely couldn’t have a toddler there'

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a perfect overnight stay in Penneshaw within walking distance to shops. The accomodation looked very new and was very clean and the communication regarding getting in to the place was easy. I would recommend this accomodation to any one.'
