Two days before we received a message by Whatsapp to tell us that there was no one at the reception after 5pm, and give us the procedure to follow to collect our keys and settle down. In the end, this establishment is a room in Airbnb... that's not what we wanted. So we went elsewhere, to a real hotel with people to welcome you and take care of you.'

'It's very pleasant and the owners very nice and friendly'

'There is a braai in the unit (ie in the bedroom) that makes the room reek of smoke. Even opening all the windows didn’t help. Bedding was clean and comfortable but it is down feathers, which is not good for travelers with allergies to that and the smoke. The unit is central which is nice but it is extremely basic and overpriced '

'When my traveller arrived with the travel booking on hand he was informed that the Guesthouse was actually fully booked and they did not have a room available, but was very accommodating in finding him a last minute alternative accomodation but still very frustrating and I actually had to proof that they also had received payment '

'Wonderful setting I must say! And the venue was well laid out with its ponds, etc. The rooms were drab, dark, old and small - it felt very crammed with all the furniture in it. There was a small fridge in the room, which was great, but there was no bottled water in the room and we had been told not to drink the tap water. The bathroom especially, was very poor - it had cracked tiles in the shower and weak water pressure, no shelves for toiletries, and the cistern took forever to fill up. We...
