De ruimte

Butterfly Villa is gevestigd in het omheinde landgoed Silver Sands en is uw thuis weg van huis. Er zijn personeel voor u klaar om te zorgen voor al uw behoeften en om uw verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. De kok doet graag uw boodschappen en om maaltijden te bereiden, zijn de huishoudster en de tuinman ook aanwezig.
Er zijn twee grote woonruimtes, de woonkamer beneden komt uit op het grote uitnodigende terracotta pooldeck. U kunt ervoor kiezen om te ontbijten op de grote veranda met uitzicht op het prachtige zwembad en de tuin, zoals wij doen wanneer we thuis zijn in de villa.
Terwijl u door de tuin wandelt, wilt u misschien de verschillende fruitbomen bewonderen, als u wilt proeven, vraag het dan aan de tuinman!
Er zijn 4 slaapkamers om uit te kiezen, allemaal met een eigen badkamer en een huisbadkamer. De master suite heeft een Queen size bed plus bad en douche. De volgende slaapkamer heeft een koning, dan een tweepersoonskamer en een kamer met twee eenpersoonsbedden. Alle hebben douches met voldoende handdoeken en kamerjassen. Strandhanddoeken zijn ook beschikbaar tijdens uw verblijf, we willen u echt zo comfortabel mogelijk maken.
Zin om buiten te eten? Vraag de kok en zij zullen de barbeque opzetten, misschien om de beroemde Jamaicaanse 'jerk chicken' te proeven.
Als u binnen wilt ontspannen, dan is er kabel-tv, bordspellen en internettoegang.

Gasttoegang

U krijgt toegang tot een privéstrand dat wordt gedeeld door de gated Silver Sands-community. Er is ook een privézwembad in de villa, een patio aan de voor- en achterzijde en een tuin. Je hebt volledig gebruik van het hoofdgebouw.

Interactie met gasten

Uw aanspreekpunt tijdens uw verblijf is het personeel van het huis, maar we zijn slechts een telefoontje verwijderd. Zonder extra kosten, is er een huishoudster, tuinman en kok in de villa bij de hand meestal vanaf 9:00 a. m. tot 5:00 p. m., maar werktijden kunnen worden gewijzigd om tegemoet te komen aan persoonlijke behoeften. Alle zijn meer dan blij om u te helpen uw verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken.

Silver Sands is een zeer rustige woonwijk met poorten die bestaat uit Jamaicaanse huiseigenaren en andere internationale bezoekers. Er is geen verkeer om je zorgen over te maken, het gebied is erg groen en zeer goed onderhouden. Het landgoed heeft strikte regels met betrekking tot externe werken en lawaai.

We kunnen ervoor zorgen dat gasten bij aankomst en vertrek naar en van de luchthaven in Montego Bay naar de villa worden overgebracht.
We kunnen vervoer naar de door u gekozen bestemming regelen, misschien Dunns River Falls, dat op een klein eindje rijden ligt of een dagje winkelen naar Montego Bay of Ocho Rios.

Het privéstrand ligt op slechts 10 minuten lopen van de villa, waar ook een lokaal restaurant en een strandbar te vinden zijn. Of u kunt een golfkar vooraf reserveren, onder voorbehoud van beschikbaarheid.

Everything was Beautiful. The food the people the neighbors and the neighbors were all so nice. The house was amazing and the staff was top tier. Ms Beverly is an amazing host. She responded fast and even gave us some ideas on what we could do for entertainment. The whole trip was a 20/20. Definitely going to Book Butterfly Villa again. 1 love

Family Time

Hello ThereMy and Family and I stayed at Butterfly Villa in Silver Sands for 5 night. The house was great and spacious. I personally love the pool area one of the reasons why I rented the property. Marva and Franciee was great. Marva cooked what ever we wanted ans we enjoyed everything she made. Wi-Fi was great. I will definitely come back. One thing I would say is buy some mosquito repellent. But all in all our stay was wonderful.

We had a really lovely stay — the space was comfortable and had everything we needed.A special thank you to Marva and Francene, who were incredibly attentive and helpful throughout our time there. They really went above and beyond to make the whole experience smooth and stress-free.When our original car hire didn’t show up at the airport, we were given excellent advice and quickly signposted to a reliable alternative — such a relief!We also really enjoyed the breakfast that was prepared for us, and dinner on our second night was a real treat. We appreciated the local tips on where to shop and where to buy local products. We also got banana cake baked for us twice during our stay and a lovely welcome drink of homemade lemonade that was nice and refreshing.The location was perfect — it made visiting all the places we needed to go easy and convenient. The nearby beach was beautiful and never crowded. We loved taking peaceful morning walks to watch the sunrise; at times, it felt like we had our own private beach.The pool is a great size and was cleaned daily. We especially loved spending time out on the balcony.If I had one suggestion, it would be to consider adding air conditioning in the living areas — that would make an already great stay even better.Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely come back!

Fabulous Villa with Warm Hospitality

We had a truly wonderful 9-day stay at Butterfly Villa! The villa itself was clean, comfortable, and felt like a home away from home. The beach was beautiful and only a short 10-minute walk away and was great for relaxing and snorkeling if the waters were calm. We usually spent our afternoons enjoying the pool with our kids. It was the perfect place to relax and have fun as a family.What really made our stay special were Marva and Francine. They were so welcoming and warm-hearted, and their hospitality made all the difference. The food they prepared was absolutely delicious, and they went out of their way to ensure our daughter, who has celiac disease, wouldn’t be exposed to any gluten. Their care and attention meant so much to us, and our daughter was able to eat safely and enjoy every meal. My one suggestion would be to get beds that are softer as they felt too hard for my back. We made so many wonderful memories at Butterfly Villa and would absolutely love to return someday!

Wonderful Relaxing Week at the Butterfly Villa @ Silver Sands

We loved our stay. We were there the last week of March. House met all of our needs. Beach was very quiet, the sand is so soft on your feet. Sea and the pool temperatures were great for cooling us off just a little. Francean and Marva took care of our every need, from airport transportation, grocery shopping, meals, cleaning and even helped us arrange a morning of snorkelling. The meals were so awesome, we had mostly American style breakfasts (pancakes, eggs, bacon, fruit, juice) and Jamaican dinners (jerk chicken, another wonderful chicken dish we had twice, curried goat, beef stew, garlic shrimp). For lunch we had leftovers and there was always fresh banana bread for snacking. Played a little tennis in the morning before it got too hot. There was a karaoke night at the beach club on Wednesday night. Will stay again some day.

This property is very comfortable. In addition to the bedrooms there are plenty of other spaces to enjoy your time. The outdoor furniture needs updating along with other areas of the home. The home staff was lovely and the traditional Jamaican dishes served were excellent.

Our stay at the Butterfly Villa was fabulous. Prior to arrival Beverly communicated promptly with answers to our questions and helped us line up a driver and our first meals. Franceen and Marva gave us a warm welcome and their hospitality throughout our stay was supherb! They went above and beyond in making sure we had what we needed and got to where we needed to be with our excursions, etc. The food they prepared was amazing and my kids ate more vegetables and tried more fruits than ever. The beach at Silver Sands is perfect, white soft sand, turquoise water and a the bar/grill on the beach is convenient and adds to the atmosphere. The neighborhood is safe and it’s fun to meet new people who stay in the homes there. We truly loved everything about our stay! Franceen and Marva are the highlight of this home. Simply perfect

Our group of seven +50, had the pleasure of staying at Butterfly Villa for 4 nights in January 2024. The villa was spacious and clean, with a good layout. The majority of our villa time was spent on the covered veranda overlooking the pool, where we ate, lounged and played games. The pool and deck was a highlight, and the beds comfortable. The Villa lived up to its description and possibly even surpassed our expectations. Positioned within Silver Sands, the villa’s location at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. While the beach was a 10-minute walk away, we opted to rent a golf cart, but are not sure if we would on future visits. Silver Sands, with its stunning beach, left a lasting impression. The beach was very picturesque, and offered swimming, paddling, snorkeling, and long walks along the shoreline. The availability of shade from umbrellas and trees added to the charm. Franceen and Marva contributed significantly to our amazing experience. Franceen’s arranged for the purchase of our groceries, kept careful records - to sum up her approach she said “you tell us want you want, and we will make it happen”. Marva’s culinary skills left us longing for more. Her delicious cooking allowed us to fully embrace the vacation experience, sampling local dishes, and free from the concerns of meal preparation and dishwashing. A heartfelt thank you to Beverly for sharing your little piece of heaven with us. Our experience at Butterfly Villa was truly amazing and memorable. We hope to return

Never want to leave the beach!

Butterfly Villa was exactly as advertised. The staff was wonderful and Beverly the owner makes sure everything is taken care of. It is a short walk to the private beach. The sand is so soft and the water so clear - you want to skip sightseeing elsewhere. Check out Juliet’s for amazing fried chicken and atmosphere.

Silver Sands is lovely!

Let me start by saying- we had an incredible time in Jamaica! The ocean is so blue, the weather was lovely, the locals are incredible- will definitely return! The absolute best part of Butterfly Villa is Franceen and Marva! Hands down! They took such good care of us, wonderful recommendations, Marva is an EXCELLENT cook. Truly special women and they enhanced our stay immensely! As far as the house, it could certainly use a little renovation/TLC. Paint, update some furnishings, renovate the bathroom/kitchen/mattresses, etc. It seems like it's been a while since any 'upkeep' has been done. The listing photos were probably taken at the start of rentals when it was new. The bottom floor could be so lovely but seems like it's pretty much dead space as it stands now. Beverly responded quickly and that was nice. It would have been helpful to have direct correspondence with Franceen before arriving to discuss menu, groceries, what to expect, etc. Luckily, I had friends stay in Silver Springs before who shared info that prepped me. Our biggest take away is that we'd return! Franceen and Marva are exceptional and the laid back vibes of Jamaica created a vacation that will never be forgotten. Enjoy!

Natural Mystic Experience

Butterfly Vila is absolutely breathtaking! During my birthday week, I wanted an authentic experience and peaceful retreat. Everything exceeded my expectations— the beautiful home, surrounding landscape, and community of Silver Sands. The close proximity of beaches in walking distance, including the fisherman’s beach. The beautiful palm trees, cool breeze, ocean, butterflies, and sunshine is a natural mystic. However, what made the biggest impact on our stay was Franceen and Marva. They are both absolute treasures that will ensure your accommodations are stress free. The food is prepared with love and amenities served with attention to detail. They even managed to surprise me with a birthday cake—which was delicious by the way! I personally cannot wait to return and stay again! All one needs is an appreciative heart to enjoy the experience of a lifetime. Thank you Beverly, Franceen, and Marva for making my Birthday week spectacular!

Family Vacation in Jamaica

Easy booking process and Beverly was quick to respond to questions. Franceen and Marva took great care of us in regards to meals, house conditions and local attractions. Private beach is very clean and no hassles. Bar and grill onsite. Easy drives to both Ocho Rios and Montego Bay. Town just minutes away via car for groceries. Marva + Franceen 4EVER

We stayed for 4 nights and 5 days and had the most amazing time. The villa was in a great location and just a short walk from the beach. It's a super quiet area and it's pretty clutch to have a pool at the house. BUT LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT FRANCEEN & MARVA. They are the new loves of our lives and we were very sad to leave them. Everyday we had homecooked meals and they were made with LOVE and were authentic. They are both SO helpful and attentive also with the grocery list, anything that we needed for the rooms or the beach, hooking us up with a mobile COVID test (which you need 3 days prior to leaving Jamaica as of right now May 2021). We will definitely be back one day to visit.

Our overall stay was very nice I want to thank Francine & Marva for treating us like family we will miss them. The villa was very good, the service, food & facility was good! The location was not too bad for me but for my older daughters it could have been a little better. The internet connection was poor I had to purchase a range extender! it was left onsite as a gift. Well laid out, breezy. Spent most of our time on the upper veranda. The convenient beach club was a real gem. The staff, Franceen and Marva, are incredible, meeting our demanding menu (we ate our way through Jamaican culinary tradition) and making for a worry free visit. Would definitely return.

New Years in paradise!

What a wonderful home Butterfly Villa! From being picked up from the airport to our last day everything was perfect! Franceen and Marva are terrific, wow can they make great food. Beverly was a pleasure to work with, quick response time. Silver Sands is just beautiful, all the people there are so sweet and kind. This was a very relaxing time.

Nothing Short of Amazing!

My group and I stayed from May 25-30, and had the pleasure of visiting the Butterly Villa of Silver Sands Estate in Duncans where we truly enjoyed ourselves. The home met all of our needs whereas Ms. Franceen and Marva was more than accommodating throughout the duration of our stay. The beach was a short walk from the home and while we were home the Ms. Franceen and Marva attended to the home while we were away. There was an issue with the AC in one of the rooms, and the ladies made sure thatnit was dealt with promptly. We woke up to having breakfast prepared everyday by the staff who went beyond their scope to ensure that we received everything we requested upon arrival. The first night we arrived, we started off with a Jamaican staple of jerk chicken, oxtail with rice and peas and plantains, where the ladies truly outdone themselves in preparation of this meal (the lime juice was great). The home was very well kept, to include the staff giving their recommendations of things to do and see nearby. I can't thank the owner and Ms. Franceen enough for a great experience overall!
