'The stay in the stables is poor, even for a low-budget version of the castle. The rooms are very noisy, not only noises from the guests next door (even if they do it quietly) but also from the noisy staff who start preparing breakfast at just after 6:00 am. Lots of loud talking and the radio on. The breakfast itself is good, but the breakfast location (the stable) is cold, (coincidentally?) the heating is partly defective, especially when the stable doors open on both sides because guests also...

'The kitchen was well equiped and parking was good and felt safe. Bed was king sized and comfortable. Television was not able to be switched on in the afternoon though. Didn't turn on until 5 pm.'

'Safe parking next to room. Contactless check in & check out so we never met the host. However, Serge replied promptly to my texts and explained check in procedure and readily accommodated late check because we had been delayed by rescheduled Ferry crossings, severe weather and heavy traffic. '

'Clean and comfortable room in a nice house, which is on a steep slope. Street parking is available a few houses down the slope. The host was pretty responsive.'

'Was hard to leave this accommodation because it is well situated near bush with bellbirds singing across the small valley. The amenities are excellent and beautifully presented. The weather wasn’t the greatest for our four night stay but we felt super cosy! Thank you to host, Paul and his partner. Sorry we did not get to thank you in person at the time of our departure!
