  • Een geweldige uitvalsbasis bijna aan de oever van het meer, waar een gezin kan genieten van wandelen, vissen, kanoën of gewoon ontspannen en genieten van het uitzicht ... Begane grond:
    Het pand bevindt zich allemaal op de begane grond:
    Woonkamer: met houten vloer, houtkachel, 42 "Freesat-tv, dvd-speler en uitzicht op het loch.
    Keuken: met houten vloer, elektrische oven, gaskookplaat, magnetron, koelkast / vriezer en wasmachine / droger.
    Slaapkamer 1: met een tweepersoonsbed.
    Slaapkamer 2: met stapelbed en uitschuifbaar eenpersoonsbed (voor kind).
    Badkamer: met bad, douche en toilet .. Elektrische centrale verwarming, elektriciteit, beddengoed, handdoeken en breedband inbegrepen. Eerste brandstof voor houtkachel aanwezig, rest beschikbaar voor £ 5 per mand. Kinderstoel beschikbaar .. Tuin met zithoek en meubilair. Parkeren (3 auto's). Niet roken. NB: Zee loch 25 yards .. Dit smaakvol gerestaureerde, vrijstaande huisje ligt op slechts enkele meters van Loch Long en biedt een prachtig uitzicht over het open water. The Heron, voorheen de theesalons van het dorp, ligt in het Loch Lomond en het nationale park Trossachs, in het gehucht Ardentinny, in de buurt van Dunoon. Het bevindt zich naast het Argyll-bos met tal van bospaden, bewegwijzerde wandelingen en fietspaden, allemaal gemakkelijk te bereiken vanaf uw voordeur. Het huisje ligt op slechts 25 meter van de kust, waar u kunt wandelen, vissen, kanoën of gewoon op de rotsen kunt rusten, ontspannen en genieten van het uitzicht. Vanuit het huisje is een grote verscheidenheid aan dieren in het wild te zien, waaronder tuimelaars, eidereenden, gewone zeehonden en rode eekhoorns. In de omgeving zijn de prachtige bostuinen bij de Benmore Botanic Gardens zeker een bezoek waard. De stad Dunoon is gemakkelijk te bereiken en heeft een goede selectie winkels, pubs en restaurants. Maak een boottocht en verken de heuvels en lochs van het Cowal-schiereiland. Winkel, pub en restaurant 4 mijl.

    Er is een zee op 25 meter van de accommodatie. Het uitschuifbare bed is alleen geschikt voor een kind. Eerste brandstof voor houtkachel inbegrepen, daarna £ 5 per mand. Maximaal twee honden.

Another lovely Christmas spent at the Heron. The cottage could do with a bit of a revamp, but despite this, a very comfy well equipped cottage. Very peaceful location with lovely view over Loch Long. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for the generous Christmas hamper.

Absolutely loved our week away at the Heron and hope to return again at some point in the not too distant future. A good friend of mine recommended it and reading the reviews, you can see why people return again. It is a comfortable, spotless and well equipped home from home and the scenery from the cottage is incredible. We all felt totally relaxed and could easily have stayed a further week. On the back of our stay, another good friend has booked the cottage as well. Thoroughly recommend this lovely cottage in such beautiful surroundings. The Heron is a great cottage views and location, the nearest shop was a garage near Dunoon a few mil

The Heron is a great cottage views and location, the nearest shop was a garage near Dunoon a few miles away but they had all we needed. Looking out over the Loch in the morning with a brew couldnt beat it.We went for weeks sea fishing but the fishing was poor, price for a week was a little steep but the views in the surrounding area are priceless.

The location of The Heron couldn't be any better as it's right on the Loch. Shame about the weather but that can't be helped. Our holiday was relaxing. The view from the windows are spectacular. The binoculars and telescope are much appreciated. The dogs loved being in the water every day! The garden is safe for them. All surrounding areas are very dog friendly and we found all the people we met very friendly. Would love to stay there again. 😊🐾👍

Stunning location, lovely space, so peaceful and relaxing with great walks on your door step. Could have done with a little welcome pack as there are no shops or deliveries available and we arrived very late at night but would definitely recommend and go back.

Our 2nd visit to this wonderful cottage . It is clean comfortable and privilege to stay there. the Loch is great to sit and watch . We saw dolphins seals and otters the variety of birds is second to none . the local Pub The Ardentinny is in a great location over looking the loch the food is fantastic and good value . The best thing about this cottage you can do as much or as little you like . We have all ready booked again for next year

4th visit to the Heron and we really do love the cottage and the area.

4th visit to the Heron and we really do love the cottage and the area. Over the years improvements have been made new electric heaters, soft furnishings etc but this time I have to be honest the internal paintwork throughout was looking very tired otherwise it’s fantastic.
