'A fantastic castle experience: it’s so much more interesting to stay in one than just looking. The staff were friendly and helpful and food was good too. There were a lot of stairs to negotiate to reach our top floor accommodation.'

'This is a 100 yr old property that has been updated but a while ago. The rooms are small but the owner/staff was excellent and the stay was enjoyable. They included a made to order breakfast. Peterlee is a little out of the way but matched where we were going. Just stayed one night.'

De WiFi was slecht te ontvangen in de kamer, in de rest van het hotel was het prima. De douche was klein maar een heerlijke straal kwam eruit. Op de laatste dag hadden wij geen warm water meer. "Wij hadden de ‘river view’ kamer: Een geweldige en ruime kamer met een fantastisch uitzicht op de rivier en een aantal bruggen.
Heerlijke bedden!
Koffie en thee beschikbaar en koelkast gevuld met drankjes gratis.
Ontbijtbuffet heerlijk vers en heel uitgebreid.
Hotel in centrum van de stad.
Bij een probleem met parkeren werden we uiterst vriendelijk geholpen. Geduldig personeel wat echt probeert mee te denken.
