'In Huntsville area to visit with grandchildren. Booked this location for the close proximity to Huntsville, for the lake, water activities (kayaks, paddle boards) and pet friendly. Could not have asked for a better location !! The Windermere is a bit rustic, but well appointed and we loved it. Can’t wait to visit again !!! Also, the cleaning staff, especially Miss Lady, were wonderful - Thank you !'

'Emily was an excellent host and very communicative before our visit and during if I ever had any questions. The house itself was lovely and had plenty of space. The pictures were great, but I'd say it was even better in person! Everything was clean and stocked, and we had no issues with any aspect of the property. I'd absolutely recommend this Vrbo rental and would gladly stay again if ever in the area. Thanks so much Emily for your hospitality!'

'We arrived at the cottage and there was a strange odour in the room. Then we noticed the furnishings were tattered and the cottage itself was poorly maintained. And though we paid we left after 10 minutes refusing to stay in this inferior cottage. We are now awaiting a refund.'

'The Mara Waterfront Cottage is without a doubt one of the best cottages we have ever stayed at. The owners and all associates involved deserve an applause for thier meticulous efforts in keeping a perfect home for us, away from our home.
