'Stayed in a single budget room which was clean and comfortable. The staff and owner make you feel very welcome. Good breakfast and well stocked bar - nice pint of Guiness. No complaints and great value. Pay and display car park a stones throw at £3 for 24 hours. No food in the evenings but would recommend the Dolphin chippy down the hill. Made a pleasant change from the corporate hotel chains.'

'The property was beautifully kept inside and out. The room we stayed in had beautiful furniture and the view was of the beach and fort and Cauldy Island and with the sun shining it was amazing. You could walk to the beach and around town within a short distance. There’s steep steps to the beach or further up, a zig-zag path. The breakfast was tasty with plenty of variety too.
