'We zijn bijna twee weken in dit sfeervolle huisje geweest en hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad! Het huisje is gezellig en van alle gemakken voorzien. Het uitzicht is prachtig! Net als de hele Wye-vallei, genoeg te zien en te doen. Gastvrij ontvangen door Dom en Sarah, altijd bereid om vragen te beantwoorden. Een aanrader!'

'It was a great stay in a perfect cottage in a quiet part of Bream. Fully equipped kitchen with all the essentials and more. No dishwasher, but that was quite okay. Great beds. The free roaming sheep and the chicken were a nice extra. Jane, the host is very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area and the best places to go to. It is tucked away in a corner of Gloucestershire, but has some great walks in the beautiful Forest of Dean. '

'De locatie van het huis was fenomenaal. Het uitzicht op de rivier Wye was vanaf de veranda waar je kunt zitten en eten echt heel mooi en rustgevend. Het huis is bovendien van alle gemakken voorzien en erg proper. Warm aanbevolen'

'We hebben een heerlijke week gehad in dit huisje. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig en het is op loopafstand van de winkels en restaurants. Vanuit deze plek hebben we prachtige wandelingen in de omgeving gemaakt en Oxford s met de trein maar een uur.'

The views are incredible and is in the doorstep of all the attractions and of course, the forest. If your lucky enough to be able to book this place, I am jealous. '

'Overall this was a good stay, rooms were nice and clean and there was plenty of space for 10 adults to stay. However, both ovens failed to heat properly which made cooking a bit of a pain. Check in process was not great, only being able to arrive between 5-6, the owner did not respond to any prior messages. Despite this, the local area was stunning, and the house was fit for purpose and good value considering the price of other locations in the area for a group this size.'

'The cottage was nice. The place on the hill was stunning. The service of the owner was great. Answer within an hour. Symond Yat is a great place for sporting, walking and other sort of sports. '

"Prachtige omgeving en heerlijk bed. Personeel werkt had en doet zijn/haar best. Het is alleen gewoon géén 5* hotel. Restaurant zeer teleurstellend (steak rauw, tafels worden niet goed schoongemaakt. service door onervaren krachten). Kamer was prima, maar douche te krap, honden gadgets vergeten (na telefoontje wel snel hersteld) en sauna bleek alleen na 10 am- tot 5pm toegankelijk én tegen extra meerprijs/ zeer klant onvriendelijk. Zoveel potentie en zo weinig waargemaakt. Gemiste kans helaas "

"Fijne ruime kamer met goed bed. Ondanks dat we aan de wegkant sliepen was het erg rustig. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Onze hond mag niet in het restaurant, maar we konden ontbijten en dineren in de lounge. Het ontbijt en het restaurant zijn van prima kwaliteit. Aan de wifi bereikbaarheid werd hart gewerkt terwijl wij er waren 😊."
