Perfect!
We spent two days in Halliburton for a family reunion. 23 Maple suited us perfectly! It was clean and had everything we needed. Although we only ate breakfast there, the full kitchen, including microwave and fridge were much appreciated! Thanks Robert!

Its simply ok. The owner has turned a very old house into a series of rooms or apartments, which do its best under the conditions. Nothing fancy, not worth the price. Gets away with it because of the town and everything is normally sold out. Wouldnt stay here again.

Just what we needed for a quick trip in for one overnight stay. Very clean, comfortable beds, clean bathroom and shower. We only needed a place to sleep and shower and make our own breakfast!! Excellent for that purpose!

The house is very old but comfortable. Everything was clean but around the shower there was some blackness. Very simple food for breakfast but doable. No TV.

Clean room in a nice older home, close to excellent ice fishing locations. The hosts were very welcoming & the breakfast was very good,too (They asked us what we'd like for breakfast, the day before we arrived, which I really appreciated.) We enjoyed our stay here & I recommend it to anyone who needs accommodations in this area..

My friend and I had access to an entire 2-bedroom apartment that was well-equipped, very clean and quiet. Our hostess brought us everything we wanted and more for our breakfast. Very accommodating and friendly. Great B&B experience.

The apartment was clean and spacious . We felt the sliding door into the space could have been a regular door that locked. It was nice to have the back deck space, the backyard space could be tidied a bit.

Great area, lovely lady and her children welcomed us and wished us goodbye. Property was lovely. Floor boards were creaky which made nighttime trips to the bathroom weirdly stressful :)

We were only expecting a room for the night, but discovered a suite with a living room, dining room/kitchen, and two bedrooms awaiting our arrival. The building is a historic home, and the subdivision between guest areas is not 100% sealed, but it was beautiful. The owner was very friendly and took obvious pride in the B&B. We really wished we were staying longer, and absolutely will stay there again.

Great bed and breakfast to stay at...
Amazing time while staying at 23Maple. Where were very pleasant to deal with and upgraded my girlfriend and myself due to a double booking which worked out better for us. The location was perfect and close to everything in town. The bedroom was a great size and the bed so comfortable. We had so much room in the kitchen and living room area and the back deck was nice to sit out imon in the morning. The selection of breakfast items was nice to have. Would recommend abc stay here again.

Close to downtown!
Great location! The house is steps from the beach, downtown Haliburton where all of the restaurants are and a five minute drive from the Haliburton School of Art and Design. The room we rented was nice - comfy beds and linens. Be prepared to share a kitchenette and bathroom with the other guests in the house. Hosts were responsive and very nice. I would definitely stay there again!

A nice spot
I enjoyed my stay at this BnB. It was comfortable and clean. One thing to note is that the owner does have a tenant that lives there. She was very nice and made cookies for us! However she did have a male guest over and was playing music one of the nights we were there and sound does carry throughout the house, so we heard them the one night and other guests down stairs the other. Breakfast was good but I wished for other options than were available. Overall it was a good experience and I would stay again!

Thanks for the feedback! We've added quality brand white-noise generators to all of our rooms to help eliminate background sounds for an enjoyable stay anytime. We're now short-term stay only too to simplify the experience. We're also always happy to customize the continental breakfast anytime. Cereals, whole grain breads, fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee/tea, juice, milk/almond milk, peanut butter/cream cheese are the defaults but easy to adjust. Just let us know your preferences! Thanks!

Robert and Jennifer are both very nice and helpful. The B&B itself was clean, roomy and comfortable. I would love to go back in Summer or Fall because it's very close to the lake (5 min walk)

New B&B in Haliburton, Ontario
Very nice century old building that has recently been renovated into a B&B with renovations and improvements on going. The owner is very anxious to please and the rates at this hotel were well within the realm of affordability. We stayed in the smallest room on the second floor in single beds. The pillows offered were very thin and did not offer much support though the new bedding was fairly comfortable. The shared washroom was a modern showpiece with a large plexi glass walled shower, new 2 flush water saving toilet and a large sink. The water system is on a well but we found great water pressure and the water drinkable. Once the owner begins to bring the rest of the B&B to that level this will become a really good place to stay for a night or two. The hotel is accessed through a constantly locked door which is easy to use without any keys. It snowed considerably while we visited and found the steps and front porch to be cleaned of snow regularly. There is room to park 3 or 4 vehicles on site and owner has secured space across the street in case of overload. The flooring through out the B&B is original beautiful knotty pine. It has outlived it's usefulness other than for the look and ambiance. From the second floor looking through the gaps in the wood you can plainly see the first floor and also hear those that are down there. Repairing this and insulating between the floors really should be the next step the owner takes in renovating this beautiful old building.
