'Unusual communication from the start. Booked through expedia, host was listed as Mei but actually a third party company made contact AFTER the free cancellation period asking for a large deposit. This was highly Unusual but I did my due diligence and they were a real company. On checkout it was confirmed I'd receive my deposit but it has taken well over a month to finally receive the funds. 'The Intercontinental Hotel Auckland is great. It is clean, well-maintained, with friendly helpful staff, and many amenities. I’ve stayed here in the past and most recently with my two sons. Dining onsite options are excellent, as well as offering countless local dining options within walking distance as it’s located in downtown Auckland at the harbor. I definitely recommend.'

One receptionist (I wish I remembered her name!) was so so so sweet. I have an aversion to elevators and asked to use the stairs, but she personally went with me up the lift and made sure I was comfortable.
