Luxe hotels in East Central Iowa

'The building was very clean and was nicely decorated/furnished. Staff were friendly. I don't wish to add a negative, but the advertised "heated pool" was actually "cold." It was a bummer, as my husband and I were celebrating our 23rd anniv. and haven't been swimming in ages. I mentioned it to the desk host; she said it's kept at a steady 85 degrees but that she would mention it to the maintenance department. The hotel is lovely overall. 'The Improvement in the hotel over a year ago was phenomenal the breakfast buffet should have a senior discount but I did feel very well taken care of by the staff our room was clean the bar was great'
