'Absolutely fantastic spot to stay in Dartmouth. Super clean space, with lovely decor. Felt bigger inside than pics imply. Very communicative host who gave us all the info for a perfectly smooth check in. Little book with top recommendations nearby was great. 15 min walk to the ferry to Halifax made it super convenient. Would 100% stay here again. '

'My wife and I needed a place to stay as I was attending a conference at Cole Harbour High School and this suited us perfectly!The rental was clean and in a quiet area while being extremely well located to amenities (four minute drive to Mic Mac Mall, 11 minutes to Costco, 20 minutes to downtown Halifax in rush hour traffic).Communication with the host was top notch and I felt like I would have no issue getting into contact if there were any issues.Excellent stay!'

'We had a wonderful stay at this property. Our host Sue was wonderful. She was so frienfly and helpful, as well as full of great recommendations. We very much appreciated the brand new bbq and outdoor furniture. The location was perfect for us as a home base to explore the East Coast, and just minutes on foot from Fisherman's Cove. The backyard view was ICONIC east coast and peaceful. Thanks for a wonderful stay.'

'We stayed at the Lakehouse for 12 days. The property is clean, beautiful and the lake is really nice. There are grocery stores, pharmacy, pizza, etc. in town. We went to the local Farmer’s market, trailway trail, Martinique beach, got a massage in town, made friends. Everything we needed was provided at the Lakehouse. We asked for instructions on how to lock the front door and Ms. Kim quickly responded to all our questions. It’ll be a good idea to have these instructions in the welcome...

'My friends and I stayed here previously and loved it. So, I went again with another friend and we had a wonderful, relaxing time. It is a beautiful spot and very peaceful.Karl and Holly are also very responsive. The only issue was the bbq starter but that was likely user wrror. Definitely recommend! '

'The beds were for children only and not suitable for adults. There was no outside furniture to sit on or to eat. There were no curtains for privacy, no cleaning materials for dishes or spills. No coffee maker or dishes etc. The outside had not seen a lawn mower once this year. This was listed as a vrbo but is actually an arnb as the owner lives above the rental with access to the unit. Very disappointed with this listing.....this was NOT a vacation rental but more like an empty apartment...
