'Had a wonderful time staying at the cozy shoehouse as we took a couple days to reunite with family after moving out of state. Spent 23 years in York visiting the shoe from time to time. It was very nostalgic inside and outside of the shoe. Unlike practically all shoes, this one did not stink.'

'The place was nice and neat with all modern finishes. The two bedrooms had nice large beds with tvs and the kitchen was nice and new. The owner lives upstairs and lives there so being aware of the living situation is important but if you’re looking for a great view, location and place to stay that’s quiet and well appointed, this is it!'

'This is a beautiful property. It was clean and so charming. We loved our stay here. We loved the old farmhouse feel of the property and all the antique furnishings. The hosts were thoughtful and quick to respond to questions. We usually take this trip annually and hope to stay here again. '

'It was so fun to take my 13 year-old granddaughter to this farm. She loved farm animals and the whole setting. It was also just the right size for the two of us. Emyily was a great host. Anytime I had an inquiry she was very efficient and answering and very kind.'

'We absolutely loved our stay! The owners were on site so if we had questions or concerns it was convenient. They were wonderful with our kids and we enjoyed all the animals. The home was fully stocked with everything you could ever possible need(or in case you forget something at your own home). The beautiful sunrise on the deck with coffee, or even inside while having breakfast made it extra! We will absolutely be coming back for another great experience!'

'The house was clean and perfect. We attended the Sights and Sound Theater, was an easy drive. Walked around town to the many shops. The hosts were quick to answer any questions we had. They even had a backyard, if you like to sit outside. Highly recommend!'

'We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely loft apartment. It was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and felt just like home. The neighborhood was quiet, and the tree-lined street was just beautiful. Our host, Gideon, very accurately described everything, and was always quick to answer any questions. We would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone who enjoys a quiet, relaxing place, close to many activities and restaurants, but far enough away from the busy city to be able to totally...

'This place is great. Centrally located to get to a lot in Lancaster. The rooms are spacious and beds are very comfortable. I thought street parking might be an issue but we always found a spot. We even got some time in the hot tub! Kathy was the best to work with, will definitely stay here again next time we are in town. '

'The interior of the property is as shown in the photos. Design scheme is attractive and kitchen is well stocked. The secured parking is a plus. The street in front of the unit does have parking, but it is limited in availability and it is on a busy street. This unit is a second story unit with a third story loft. Overall, we did enjoy our stay and it met our needs.'

'Our stay was great. House was very clean and layout as described. Came to the area for a mother/ daughter trip. '

'This was my first time using VRBO. The description of the property was exactly what it said. If you have a baby and young children they also provide baby beds, high chair, books and games. Great location to the surrounding farm land, shops and restaurants. The host were great. The cottage has a warm country feel. I would recommend staying there. '

'We stayed here for Hershey and Lancaster. The location was very easy to get to, as it was just off a highway. There are a handful of restaurants and gas stations very close by. Getting to Hershey and Lancaster was very easy. We had plenty of room for 9 people to spread out, but also come together to play games in the evenings.'

"We arrived less than an hour before the official check-in. With all our luggage. The room was not ready, ok. But we could not leave our luggage behind for the remaining 45 minutes. So everything back in the car… Breakfast offers enough options and is fine. Dinner and shopping options at the doorstep, very convinient. Clean room. We got a room facing Hwy 30, which turned out to be quote noisy. A large a/c or generator grille next to the window did the rest. Off course we could have asked for another room, but when you already have settled after a long day travel, not so fine. So all together, we think it is over-rated and overpriced. Not a bad hotel, but room for improvement. "
