'For my purposes of visiting an unwell relative, it was perfect. However, if you don’t know the area it appears a bit run down. The appartments themselves have good security with cctv. I booked through travel site and found communication was not easy. I have a feeling the owners are new to letting their appartments so hopefully teething issues. The cleanliness was ok but I again suspect that it was a rush job to prepare for our stay. The apartment location is central and a short walk to the train...

'We didn’t stay! As the hotel decided to cancel the evening before the Coldplay concert due to weather! What absolute rubbish. So disappointed and would never consider staying there again. Even paid upfront and booked months in advance. If I had have cancelled within 24 hours I would have been charged! I was told at 2pm on day of arrival(5pm check in) that the appartment was o longer available due to previous occupier causing damage which could not be rectified. Had a exact review not so long ago. 'The lodge and location was outstanding. Situated on Heron Lakes looking across one of the 6 lakes on site with stunning views. Great location to get to the coast and plenty to do on site with walked, bike trails and of course fishing! Great short break away and will be staying here again.
