'The house is comfortable, clean, and well stocked. Vrbo has this house not far from Bar Harbor, but it is actually a bit over an hour drive. We didn't mind the drive, but you should at least be aware. The house is, however, not far from Schoodic and Winter Harbor, which also allows you to experience much of the same hikes, water sports, etc. as Bar Harbor. '

It is a beautiful house, nicely decorated with comfortable furniture - perfect for relaxing and visiting. We loved the location, it is in a quiet neighborhood with multiple shopping and dining options nearby. It took us about 35 minutes to drive to the Bar Harbor area.'

'We had a good stay at this property. House was generally clean but in need of updates and TLC. New mattresses would be good. Property is definitely off the beaten path which was a little hard to find after dark when we arrived. We did see deer eating apples from the tree each morning which was great. We also enjoyed using the fire pit one evening. Property is a decent location to Acadia and Bar Harbor if you don’t mind driving off the main road a bit. With a party of 3 couples wanting 3...

'The house is decent and located in a good neighborhood and about 30-35 mins away from the Boothbay harbor. The instructions from the host were pretty clear. The house had ample towels and toiletries. The one thing I would like to mention is the host should think about providing fans in all the rooms, since there is no ventilation and they have only one spilt air conditioning unit in the passage upstairs which does not give air to the 3 individual rooms. It got really hot in the rooms. '
