'Almost everything was great. There were only a couple of things that we didn’t like. First, we paid for 2 queen beds, but the beds were double. Second, the dishwasher was full and thirdly, the hotel supplied lotion had been used. Not new.'

'You can’t get a better value for your money anywhere else in East Lansing. Excellent property, close to grocery stores, eateries and other stores. Breakfast was way better than the Marriott AC Lansing hotel where we stayed earlier.'

'Room was spotless and silent, I don’t think we heard another guest our entire stay, despite them being fully booked. The rooms were a great size, had a mini fridge/freezer and microwave in room! Also plenty of storage and a full desk. It was nice to set up and unpack, and not feel like we’re living out of our suitcase. 'The rooms were clean and parking was convenient.'

'We were there for graduation weekend which meant surge pricing and apparently minimal housekeeping. Room was dirty upon check-in with toothpaste residue on the mirror and console, and visible ???? On the carpet by the windows. We returned at 4 pm the next day and housekeeping hadn’t been to our room. I called the front desk and they promptly sent someone up to refresh everything. That was great. But, for $1000 a night, we should not have this. I will check out the Marriott or somewhere else...

'I liked that it was close to the location I was visiting. The room was very comfortable and easy to get to, close the parking. I like that we didn’t have to pay for parking. It was included. I like that it was quiet.'

'I choose the hotel as one of my other options had clearly mentioned their pool is going under maintenance.. decided to book this.. and for all my stay their pool area was not working, when asked it was a regular maintenance and would take couple hours.. however these couple hours lasted my whole stay.. my kids were disappointed'

'We were forced to book another hotel --through expedia--upon arriving and seeing a trailer full of cats, the desk staff smoking, doors with destroyed paint, pothole ridden parking lot. The place is awful and we would have felt unsafe and exposed to smoke and cat fur (one of our family members has severe allergies). I didn't even go in. I left a voicemail canceling our stay. 'This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had, even for just one night. The rooms were in terrible condition, with very poor lighting, and the bathroom drainage did not work. The entire room was extremely dirty and clearly not maintained properly. The front desk service was also very disappointing and unprofessional. What made the experience even worse was their handling of the security deposit, which felt dishonest and misleading. They would not respond properly to customer service calls...

'The hotel is undergoing renovations and I think a change of ownership. The sign still says it’s a Clarion but it’s advertised as Lansing Delta West. The room was a bit shabby but clean, comfortable and spacious. I could hear guests on both sides through the walls and they were not being overly noisy. The grounds, sidewalks and common areas are currently in poor condition which I assume will be taken care of as renovations continue. There is a large indoor pool and patio area that looks like it...
