'We couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax for our first trip to Maine. The bed was so comfortable and the house was spotless and perfectly appointed. Our dogs are so thankful they were welcomed, too. We can’t wait to come back!'

'Overall the place was nice. We didn’t get a chance to kayak, but we enjoyed our stay regardless. The kitchen was well stocked and we made all our dinners there. The bathroom had some black mold on the ceiling, which was concerning. The directions could also have been more descriptive, we got there after dark and had trouble finding the place.'

'The stay was amazing! I took a large group of people to Acadia and the workers were very accommodating and friendly. Make sure to bring your own firewood for the pits outback! Lol'

'It is easy to see the love that was placed in this cabin. Everything you need plus things you would not even think of have been provided. But it is the location that is wonderful. You have a feeling of being totally secluded yet not isolated. They were very happy to have had the privilege to stay in this home'

'We enjoyed a couple of nights in this charming home. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was a nice size for preparing meals. We relaxed by the fire and enjoyed the view of the lake. All 4 of us are coffee and wine drinkers so a larger coffee pot and at least 4 wineglasses would have made it perfect.'

'It is nice when the expectations of a property are fully met! The house easily sleeps 6 (2 couples + 2 single beds) with lots of room to socialize it the kitchen, living room and balcony. The house is ideally located in a beautiful and quiet large lot overlooking the bay with lots of good restaurants within 15-20 minutes. The house was very spacious and had all the amenties that you could want. All of the Acadia attractions and hiking trails were easily accessible. I would definitely recommend...

'My husband and our 3 adult children and their significant others stayed here for a family hiking trip in Acadia National Park and the property is scenic and serene. We only saw 1 bald eagle off in the distance so bring your own binoculars, but it was a great long weekend making incredible family memories.'

'The property was as advertised. It was clean and tastefully renovated recently. The kitchen was satisfactorily equipped, the seating/TV area comfortable, and the dining area accommodated all 6 of us. There was plenty of parking. Ellsworth is located convenient distance to Acadia NP, Mount Desert, Bar Harbor, etc. while offering many appreciated local shops, restaurants, and services.'

'We wanted a cottage a bit away from the bustle of Bar Harbor as a hub to explore Acadia and this fit the bill. The Cottage is clean, well appointed and appears to have been recently renovated. Located about 30 mins from Ellsworth and 1 hour from Acadia, it was far enough away from the Columbus Day crowds. Ellsworth is good size (~8K residents) has several restaurants and a small downtown. There is also a well-stocked general store in Otis about 10 minutes away. We had a wonderful time just...

'Property was as described in listing. We stayed for a weekend while visiting our UMaine student. Only a little further from campus than the hotel in Bangor and a whole lot less expensive and lots more space! Kitchen had what we needed to cook. We didn’t use the backyard but it looked nice and had a fire pit. Quiet area was perfect for us.'

'The overall house was very nice. It was very clean, neat and organized. Our two complaints would be the road to the house was very desolate and full of ruts and very large holes. The water coming out of the faucets smelled awful. It had a very high sulfuric odor. It also came out dark gray when the faucet was first turned on. We had to let it run for awhile. The water that was supposed to be filtered tasted terrible. We ended up buying bottled water.'

'Good access to Ellsworth and Arcadia'

'This home was beautiful, the area was stunning, we loved all the barns and animals, it was so peaceful and easy to find. The house was spotlessly clean and very well maintained by the hosts. It had everything we needed for our 2 night trip. Kelly was super organized and very responsive - the only issue we had was traffic delayed our arrival so we lost out on 3 hours of enjoying it more 😍'
