Het zandstrand en de prachtige Atlantische oceaan liggen op slechts een steenworp afstand van dit nieuw gebouwde strandhuis. Het uitzicht wordt echt niet beter dan dit en een lift.
Belangrijkste gemeenschappelijke ruimte / keuken op de tweede verdieping, een extra gemeenschappelijke ruimte op de eerste verdieping (met een tafelvoetbaltafel!), evenals een bar op de derde verdieping die uitkomt op een dakterras, bieden voldoende ruimte voor groepen om naar wens te verzamelen of te scheiden. Buitendouche en patio zijn geweldig om af te spoelen na een snelle duik, ontspannen en familiebarbecues.

De omgekeerde plattegrond plaatst de primaire woonruimtes - keuken, eethoek en woonkamer - evenals een grote slaapkamer op het tweede niveau, allemaal met vrij uitzicht op het strand en de oceaan. Het eerste niveau bevat nog 2 master slaapkamer lay-outs, 2 extra slaapkamers (delen van een hal bad), en een gemeenschappelijke ruimte met tafelvoetbal, roku tv / kabel. Het derde niveau bevat een kleine zolderruimte met een futon voor extra slaapplaatsen en een handig 1/2 bad, dat uitkomt op een ruim dakterras met uitzicht zover het oog reikt. Naast het bad dat is verbonden met de hoofdslaapkamer op de tweede verdieping, is er ook een volledig halbad, handig voor iedereen die op de 3e verdieping verblijft. Een lift, toegang tot de begane grond, eerste en tweede verdieping, is een handige voorziening van het huis.

Het huis ligt dicht bij de Edisto paviljoen / pier, diverse restaurants en bijna aan de overkant van de supermarkt van het eiland en het plaatselijke tankstation. Het ligt ook op loopafstand van verschillende winkels. Het ligt op een uitgestrekt stuk ongerept Edisto-strand met vrij panoramisch uitzicht op de Atlantische oceaan.

Awesome Family Trip
Our family and I had an amazing time at Edisto in this house. Plenty of space and was wonderful to be able to bring our dogs. The view was gorgeous and the balcony area was a really nice place to sit out. The upstairs balcony was an ideal spot for soaking up the sun! The kitchen was well stocked which was great when cooking. Loved the overall area of the island and we just had a really nice time. The only complaint would be the downstairs bedroom with the queen bed was uncomfortable. Our family is so happy we chose this spot and recommended to everyone!!

Beautiful beach house
We had an excellent stay at this property. The house has amazing ocean views and beautiful interior design. It was so relaxing to fall asleep listening to the waves crashing down at night. All of the beds and couches were very comfortable. Something worth noting is that the beds weren’t made upon arrival. Clean sheets were left on top of the beds for you to make. This was kind of a bummer since we had a very long drive down from Massachusetts with small children and the last thing I wanted to do was make beds. However, it was nice to know that the sheets were clean! Washer and dryer were convenient and complimentary tide pods and dryer sheets were a great touch! The kitchen has plenty of seating at the island as well as the dining table. There is a pantry to store items. Grocery store is within close walking distance as well as a gas station. A beach bar with outdoor seating and gift shop is located a few steps away. My only concern was that the covered deck on the second level (off of the kitchen) seemed to be missing a lower wire which made me nervous with our 2 and 3 year olds going out there. It wasn’t a very large gap but we have small children and they could have potentially fit through the opening. Overall though, this house was even nicer than I was expecting. The beach is great, house is gorgeous, furniture is comfortable. I would enthusiastically recommend this property and would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful House
We LOVED the house! It was spacious and being right on the beach was an experience we'll always remember. I was concerned, after reading some reviews, that the house wouldn't be clean. It's a beach house - there's no way to keep the sand out! I would sweep my room before bed. No big deal. It wasn't dirty, but it could use a good spring cleaning - ceiling fans need dusted and bathroom fans cleaned. The pillows were too flat for my taste, but that's subjective. Offering different types of pillows for guests would be nice (firm, extra firm, soft, etc.). This is also the first rental I've ever had where we had to put our own sheets on the bed. Not a deal breaker, but still. The kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of dishware, silverware and appliances. We grilled and used the crockpot. We had absolutely no issues. We didn't use the elevator. This house was a dream compared to other places we've stayed throughout the years. I would 100% recommend it and would come back in a heartbeat.

Very nice house with outstanding location
We stayed here for a family vacation with all adults and small dogs. Once you've seen the picture, I don't need to tell you how good the location is. The kitchen is well stocked and has plenty of room for cooking full meals. It's on the second floor along with the main living room so the elevator was very handy for bringing in supplies. Be sure to follow the posted instructions. The second (smaller) living room on the first floor was nice for people who wanted a quieter place to chill. We needed clarification on the check in process and the property manager was very responsive. Agree with other reviews that the house could use a little TLC but overall it is very nice and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially falling asleep to the sound of the ocean.

Issues during our stay: 1)The email body and PDF attachment contain different phone numbers and check-in instructions. These need to be updated to match 2)The sheets are not on the bed, you have to do that yourself. After traveling and unloading, no one wants to make a handful of beds 3)There is a picture of a foosball table on the posting, but it’s not in the house. This was a major reason why we chose this house over other comparable ones 4)It rained pretty heavily for part of our stay, and there were multiple leaks that we had to attend to 5)It flooded while we were there, causing sand and a fence to block the elevator door on the ground level. I asked the management company if someone would be coming to address the issue prior to us checking out. I was told that, due to “road blockages and the holiday” the maintenance company wouldn’t be able to clear the debris from in front of the elevator. The roads were reopened on Tuesday, we didn’t check out until Saturday, and the holiday wasn’t until Monday. What if we would’ve had an urgent issue that really did need to be tended to? 6)There was food left behind in the fridge and cabinets, moldy coffee grounds in the coffee machine, dirty dishes in the cabinets, and broken/rusted kitchen accessories 7)The shower curtains have mildew on them, the couches are dingy and need to be cleaned/replaced. The good: The floorplan is fantastic, location is perfect and view is to die for. Some tweaks and this place would be amazing!

Disappointed in cleanliness
The property was a great spot, beautiful views, and roominess for our group. However, we entered to dirty floors, sliders with finger/handprints and smudges and food in fridge/freezer. We then found several wine and champagne glasses had caked on greasy fingerprints like they were not clean. Lots of dust on fans, walls and under beds. We also had to make our beds which was not mentioned anywhere in description. The house needs a deep clean.

Great Home on the Ocean!
We had a wonderful time at this house! Great spaces for everyone from 30 - 80+ years old. The elevator was key for the seniors. It's very close to restaurants, the grocery and shopping too. I could live on the porch! Such a lovely home!
