'We had a wonderful stay at the Lakehouse, celebrating our daughter's 21st birthday. Wish the weather cooperated so we could have enjoyed the backyard and/or kayaked, fished, or swam ... but there's always next time - and we will for sure be back (possibly May 2025 for her graduation at Millikin!). 'Cute remodel of an older home in the town of Olney, IL. Quiet neighborhood with friendly folks. The host was very responsive (like immediately!) to questions as well a minor issue of logging into the streaming TV services. Speaking of which, there are very nice, large flat-screen TVs in every bedroom (3) and living room, which was greatly appreciated during March Madness. The house has a few quirks, but very comfortable and cozy, with everything you need for a few nights or even a longer stay.'
