The bathroom and toilet is encased in a large glass box which is cool to be able to sit in the spa and watch TV but the sheer curtains for privacy was a bit too revealing and could do with something heavier to provide more mystery when your partner is in the bathroom.'

'The escape villa is beautifully designed, with plenty of natural light and stunning tree views. The fireplace is a true centerpiece—gorgeous to look at from anywhere in the villa, while also providing excellent warmth and comfort. The open-plan jacuzzi is another highlight, perfectly positioned to take in the views. Both the couch and the bedding are very comfortable, making for a relaxing stay. A couple of small areas could be improved: the TV reception wasn’t great, and some of the bathroom...

'I was met with a very engaging owner who showed me through the hotel. My room was small but very clean with a comfortable bed and efficient heating. Bathroom was a shared bathroom but was very clean and plenty of hot water and large 'fluffy' towels. The evening meal was very tasty and there was not a long waiting time for the meal. Very helpful and friendly staff. A beautiful country hotel and I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.'
