'Guesthouse ligt op een mooie plek dicht langs de 1. Erg vriendelijke gastvrouw die veel tips had om de omgeving te verkennen. Accommodatie heel knus ingerichte woonkamer. Ruime keuken en badkamer. De slaapkamers klein maar heel fris en prima voor een nacht. Wel wat gehorig.'

'Fantastic accommodation. More than what we expected, It was spacious, very clean, amazing shower, comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen and a wonderful view. Very quiet and tranquil surroundings. You could even see Icelandic horses from the window. Host was very responsive and we had a great time. Would highly recommend.'

'Erg netjes. Schoenen uit en in het rek beneden zetten. Bedden waren prima. Douches en wc's netjes en schoon. Keuken aan de kleine kant. Buitenzijde van het pand oogd erg lelijk, maar van binnen is alles opgeknapt.'

'Cosy guesthouse in the middle of nowhere. The owner, Siggi, gave us a very warm welcome when we arrived and we had a great chat with him over morning coffee. The room and facilities were excellent; next to the room itself there's a well equipped common area with sofas, TV, fridge, etcetera. Excellent bed and pillows. Got a tasty breakfast buffet even though it just the two of us that morning. Would come again!'

'Such a beautiful hotel in such a beautiful town. The scenery along a mirrored lake and next to the Blue Church was breathtaking. The room was really large with a balcony view of the lake. The bed was cozy and the sheets so soft. She even left us an entire chocolate bar to enjoy. We loved our stay!'

'What a magnificent hotel, wow. Room was super nice and clean. Common area with fridge is a great idea btw. And to top it all: there was an arctic fox den nearby, so we saw cute little arctic fox pups near our room. Loved everything about this place! This is THE hotel to stay at when considering a trip to Askja or other nearby F road adventures. '

'Un ensembre de 6 chambres sur la colline a 3,5km de la ville donc au calme. Chambre ni trop grande ni trop petite Coin cuisine ideal pour rechauffer des plats quand on n a plus envie de ressortir . Tout est bien fonctionnel pour un court sejour. '

'It's a lovely guesthouse in a former school building, with a small room but a comfortable common area and a well stocked kitchen. Beautiful views of the fjord. The area is a bit isolated--just a tiny village, and it takes over an hour to get there from the main road by a steep winding dirt road. We hiked up the hill, but the trail isn't well maintained. It's a great place for peace and quiet, but not as a base for exploring the eastern fjords.'
