'The property and location were excellent. Plenty of stuff to do and restaurants to choose from. We’re really bummed out that the pool was closed all but two days when we were there. 'Everything was great! We stayed at Hotel Effie last year and this year opted for the VRBO…so incredibly glad we did! The location and view were fantastic! 'The outside of the building was not impressive nor was the inside corridors or elevator. Don't let the outside fool you. I thought I has made a mistake and booked the wrong place. 'Pool was nice and walk to beach was short. Building has 2 elevators, one of which was out-of-order all week making the other full a lot. Had to walk the 9 flights of stairs several times to avoid long waits. There were 2 separate doors with codes to get into the room and the second door code was 11 digits (have no idea why so long), so was very inconvenient. Existing condition of the property is not as it appears in the ad picture. I am assuming it is an older picture from when the property...
