'20min walk from Luxor temple, several restaurants for dinner and a rooptoppool. On arrival they give you a personal tour in the hotel. Only negative point is that there is no extra AC in the gym. Or i didn't find it.'

'Had a huge room with a balcony with view over poolside and Nile river. I was out most of the time touring but perfect near some attractions, very reasonably priced. Very helpful and polite staff. '

'Had an amazing stay at Jewel Howard Carter Hotel. We had incredible service the entire time we were there - the staff were amazing and accomodating and had amazing recommendations the entire time. Laundry service was available and great price. Swimming pool was beautifully kept, they even had an organic farm with bananas, mangos and herbs. It’s in a quieter area of Luxor, so if you’re wanting to explore East Bank (the busier side of the city) be prepared for slightly higher taxi fares back...

'Although the internet service of this hotel is REALLY bad, the rest of it is plainly gorgeous. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The staff is corteous, helpful, friendly, and efficient. 'Net hotel met mooie kamers die uitzicht hebben op de Nijl. Elke morgen een goed ontbijt en het hotel beschikt ook over een mooi buitenzwembad waar je lekker in kan zwemmen. Verder kan je bij dit hotel tours boeken naar alle toeristische atracties in de buurt. Een voordeel is dat dit hotel op loopaftand ligt tussen diverse musea, Luxor tempel en Karnak.'

'Great stay, lovely pool with the greatest Nile view, and all staff is so kind and service-oriented, from the reception desk, to the gardemers, from security to barkeeper. You feel at home! Our room was comfortable, the only issue is the fact that there is a mosque nearby, and the morning prayers are early and loud, and the room is not very soundproof... But, this is clearly compensated by all the positives.'
