'Good location in the middle of the town, clean and comfortable bed, friendly staff, nice lounge area downstairs. WiFi didn’t work all the time because of the power outage, but this was an issue in the whole town. The bathroom is quite small and needs some renovation, also the hot water didn’t work during our one day stay. Air conditioning is really loud.'

'AMAZING!!! The most beautiful place, with comfortable and amazingly decorated rooms. Our room also had a large veranda, which was great for breakfast, sunset, relaxing, anytime of the day! The food and the service were massively beyond expectations. The staff constantly went out of their way to make us comfortable and happy, and the food was delicious. We stayed for four nights and easily could have stayed for another four, or more! Really strongly recommend!!'

'We really enjoyed our stay in Bacpackers Island! The beautiful beach was breathtakingly beautiful and overall feeling very peaceful. This is a new family business and that's why there are no many reviews yet. The staff was very friendly and ready to help. Food was excellent too! There are three shared toilets that were in very good condition and three outdoor showers. The beach is great for swimming and snorkeling. Thank you for great party at New Year's Eve! We will never forget this...

'This is a great hostel. Very clean, right on the beach, incredible service. It did get rowdy at night, but was not a trashy vibe at all - fine if you were not trying to party. We are a couple in our 30s and enjoyed ourselves.'

'Very good hotel, they organize nice partys and tours and everyone is so kind and helpfull, met a lot of wonderful people here. Beautiful sunsets and lovely rooms Con: the wifi worked terrible (no wifi in the room), breakfast starts late (8 oclock) if you have an activiatie outside of the hostel you probably wont be able to have breakfast.'

'Big Paul’s is the place to be in El Nido - we didn’t know what to expect and opted for a private twin room with for £15 each Free rum and coke - for 3 hours Copious free shots - made by Paul himself Loads of other amazing backpackers from around the world Free breakfast and just everyone is so nice! 5 mins in a tricycle from El Nido town centre Bike rental yards away Can’t fault it one bit - we only wish we could have stayed longer (my liver probs couldn’t take it though)'
