'The staff was very accomodating with our requests and informative with activities we can do around the resort. The place was very quiet and was able to provide me with a much needed break from a busy life. The views were amazing.
All in all, it was an amazing experience made easier by their staff.
As this is an "off-grid" stay out in the outbacks of Palawan, a bit of dust and dirt everywhere is expected. But the staff made efforts to provide us with anything we needed to stay comfortable. '

'"For anyone travelling on a tight budget, listen up.
Private bunk bed room, just for yourself, no sharing with strangers. At that price, in El Nido, there’s nothing comparable.
I used every free thing this place offers. Coffee in the lobby every morning. Water dispensers on every floor, so I never bought a bottle. The rooftop space is quiet and open, I did yoga up there a few times, which I wasn’t expecting to find at a hotel.
The massage place right next door is one I saved for the last day and...

' j'ai beaucoup apprécié la discrétion des gens qui vivent à cet endroit à l'écart du monde dans ce village situé en pleine nature entre la jungle et la mer de Chine. Le beauté du site rend le séjour difficile à quitter.
Je ne recherche pas les 5 étoiles avec groom dans l'ascenseur et roome service 24/7, mais le calme et la sincérit é.
Il faut penser à prendre des bouteilles d'eau car l'eau vient de sources locales et notre organisme n'est pas habitué. '

'I stayed here for several days. Loved it so much decided to spend the couple more. I could not be more appreciative and content with the service and cleanliness of everything. Particularly the kitchen was extremely well-set-up. Jonh is very friendly and a happy man. Hi, highly recommend this place to people who require a better type of accommodation. And the price was very, very reasonable.'

'I like the location-very close.to the airport. It is a bit far to town but we didnt mind. The hotel was quite, clean, had the necessary amenities such as pool and restaurant. The hotel does provide shuttle to Town but very limited, so we had to ride the tricycle for the most part. The only negative I can say about the hotel is the room smell- its a bit musty especially if the AC is not on. Overall, we liked the hotel. As I mentioned if you like to be close to the airport and want a quite...

'Pros: Staff is very friendly and attentive, clean room, and close to many restaurants, bars, and ferry. Complementary massage was great.
Cons: No daily room service/cleaning, I am not sure if I was supposed to ask for that, but didn’t bother me either. '

'The room was disgusting. The bathroom water was brown. The toilet wouldn’t flush and when we asked someone about fixing it they say it flushed and when we checked it wasn’t. We left. You can find way nicer hotels in el Nido for the same price or for even cheaper. This hotel is nasty and filled with bugs. Staff wasn’t helpful at all.'

"We were staying in the villa with a private pool, with two adults and two grown up children. A really fantastic experience the resort is located on the beach, and has a nice restaurant with a great à la carte choice for breakfast. Friendly staff and great service made our stay complete."
"Hot water for shower take so long or nothing, only 1 towel even i ask for an extra they did not give but thanks to the housekeeper girl in Veranda, she is nice and give me one. I also ask for a breakfast to go a day before that if we can have a breakfast to go on next day at 7am because we have a tour and we need to be at 7:45am at the meeting point but we got no breakfastat all ww need to leave asap because of the meeting point time and still they did not pack any even a bottled water. We habe stay at the extended side of the hotel and the room had no socket for charging near bed only 1 near Ref but not working we need to charge at the bathroom and most if all no wifi in room only outside. But at the main hotel there is a pool and the beach it‘s nice that‘s the only positive comments that i can give. It‘s about 15-29 minutes to El Nido Town. Tricycle cost ₱100.00 everytim. Airport transfer cost ₱1,200 "
"We stayed five nights at Charlie’s El Nido. We had fairly high expectations, as this was one of the most expensive hotels we booked during our six month trip through Southeast Asia (around $100 per night). Unfortunately, the experience ended up being quite disappointing.
We booked a standard room and were placed on a basement floor. That wouldn’t have been a big issue, but it was quite a long walk with luggage and there is no elevator. The room itself was extremely small, with barely any space to move around and no room for a chair.
The hotel also seemed to have a sewage issue. Both in the bathroom and around the resort there was a strong sewage smell throughout the day.
In addition, we only had hot water for two of the five nights. We had to walk to reception twice to report it. Our room key card also stopped working twice, which meant additional trips to reception to get it reactivated.
The WiFi barely worked and requires access codes that need to be re entered regularly. Housekeeping was also confusing. At check in we were told cleaning is only done upon request, yet the first morning housekeeping knocked on our door asking if we wanted the room cleaned. The following day no one came, even though we had left the used towels on the floor.
On the positive side, the pool area is nice (although sunbeds were often occupied), the staff are very friendly and helpful, and we were offered a free airport shuttle. Still, we don’t feel it was worth the money."
