'Lovely log cabin, very clean , excellent central heating with radiators in every room. Good sized fenced in garden for our dog to run around in. Veranda with table and chairs where you can sit back and watch countryside and wonderful sunsets. The cabin is up a steep gravel track so would not be suitable for cars with low ground clearance. The owner was very nice.'

'Amazing! Helens' cottage is beautiful. A hidden gem, exceeded our expectations. The rooms are spacious ,clean ,and everything you need is there and all good quality. Don't let the 4ft bed put you off, it's so comfy and you'd be missing out on a fantastic break. It's peaceful, amazing views, walks. Only a short walk to Llangollen, such a pretty town. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend it .Helens' attention to detail is no less than perfect.'

'I stayed here with my brother and dog in September, we was very lucky with the weather and had the most gorgeous views. It was beautiful and relaxing, just what we needed with a little anxious dog. I love being outside and taking pictures and this place did not disappoint, from Sunsets to sunrises, animals and even army helicopters, I found myself very excited to be there and to witness the beauty surrounding the cottage. I would definitely recommend to stay here if you want a quiet get away.'

'Everything about this property was great. There were a few minor issues. One was the metal strip keeping down the carpet leading to the small bedroom had some screws sticking up. We threw a towel over it and moved on. Had we reported it I’m sure it would have been taken care of. Also, would have liked a place to set our toiletries in the bathroom. Some sort of shelf. The decor was nice and everything was clean. Would reccomend this place.'

'Though we enjoyed our holiday at Olive it was a struggle for my wife who is disabled as the bed was particularly low and the stairs are steep. We would also recommend the owner completes the path from the house to the drive as walking over the grass after rain particularly in the dark was unpleasant. It would also be preferable to add a parking space alongside garden gate.'

'Cooks Flat is a great find in Wrexham! Tranquil, peaceful and beautiful walks on the property. What a treat to stay on a private estate and visit the Victorian kitchen and games room. I appreciated the welcome gifts and hospitality from the hosts too. Would definitely stay again next time I’m in the area.'
