'This is a jewel of a place to relax and enjoy the country life. We knew we were going to love it from the minute we pulled in the long driveway. Each morning we had breakfast on the side patio and watched the ducks on the pond. The facilities provide everything you could need for your stay. The master bedroom is comfortable, cool, and best of all dark. It was so nice to just sit back and listen to birds while reading and sitting under the pergola. Plenty of places to walk. There is a large back porch and deck that is also very spacious and perfect for any outdoor meal with family.The location of the property is in a quiet cove with great fishing. We spent countless hours sitting on the private boat house dock fishing. We also brought our own kayaks and fished the cove when we weren’t out on the boat fishing the lake. 'Perfect for a weekend getaway! Just 15 miles from historic downtown Jefferson where we spent the days. Then back to the cabin on Lake of the Pines to watch the sunset on the porch of the cabin. So quiet the only noise was the birds at the water and the squirrels chattering and playing. '
