Veel voorzieningen en vriendelijke mensen. Typisch Engels in de sfeer van Miss Marple en Midsomer Murders :). Bury St Edmunds op een paar km afstand viel echt tegen behalve dan de mooie Abbey ruine en tuin. De stad zelf stelt niets voor. De omgeving is niet spectaculair maar wel mooi en rustig met schitterend middeleeuwse...

'Huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien, keurig schoon en heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. Alle apparatuur in huis is boven verwachting, tot zelfs een vaatwasmachine en wasmachine aan toe. Super leuke cottage. 1 klein minpuntje is het matras in het 2 persoonsbed, deze ligt naar mijn mening niet echt lekker meer, is te zacht. Verder zeer de moeite waard voor een heerlijk weekje weg.'

'Very quiet and low lit area - perfect for stargazing. No WiFi so the kids stayed off their devices and enjoyed watching the chickens roam around freely. My little boy even got to help feed some which he thought was brilliant. Mary and her husband are top class hosts! Would definitely recomendthis place to anyone who wants a quiet rural getaway. '

'Our third time in this cosy cottage. As before, everything was perfect. The cottage is comfortable with a big garden, very well equipped and located conveniently close to a train station (Dullingham) for visits to Cambridge etc. We also enjoyed a dinner in the local pub, The Bull, and long walks in the area. People here are really friendly and welcoming. A big Thank You to Robbie for being such a great host! We enjoyed our stay a lot, and will be back.'

'Wij verbleven met ons gezin (3 personen) in de cottage van Andy. De cottage is gezellig en goed ingericht. De omgeving is landelijk en je kunt er mooie wandelingen maken. Het is zeer prettig dat er een achtertuin is. Verder is de keuken goed ingericht, er is een wasmachine aanwezig en een open haard. Vanuit deze locatie zit je zo in Cambridge, ook zijn Oxford en Londen met de auto goed bereikbaar (plus minus 50 miles). Als je naar een buitenwijk van Londen rijdt -vlakbij een metro station- kun...

'We really enjoyed our stay at this thatched house near Bury St.Edmunds and we found so much to do in the area that our week-long stay passed very quickly. We particularly enjoyed the comfortable bed and the perfect garden, enjoying several meals at the outside table. An very unusual place that we were fascinated by was Grimes Graves, a Neolithic flint mine.'

'The Stables is a charming and spacious property. We were thrilled to find it beautifully decorated for Christmas and an amazing basket of goodies/treats that we enjoyed throughout our stay. We were disappointed to find many of the light bulbs burned out or nonfunctional, leaving no lighting in the main hallway. Heating such an old home is always challenging, so not surprising to find the first floor very cold and the upstairs quite warm. The pillows and mattresses throughout the house left much...

'Enjoyable stay on Puzzle, attractive and comfortable, boat. Peaceful and quiet, we liked watching riverside life. Great for walks by the river and easy to walk to the town. Internet access was limited as there is no Wi-Fi, but ok for a few days stay. We hope to return in the future'

'Keurig hotel op goede lokatie. Wel veel contactgeluiden en 's nachts lawaai in trappenhuis van late gasten. Geen kleerkast op onze kamer. Maar zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame bediening.'
